Great stay

Love the amenities at this resort. The room we were in was comfortable. What really made our stay was the staff we enjoyed the hospitality and service from Bridget and Charles.

Door lock didn't work 3 out of 4 days

Front desk response time horrible. Were told they would call back. 4 hours later still no response until I called them. Lock broken 3 out of 4 days. Was given $150 credit out of $1800 bill

Recent start at CCBR

This trip was amazing! Check-in/out process was a breeze. The various on-site activities were amazing for both child and adults throughout the week. Our room had a slight musty smell each time we would initially walk in, but would disappear after 1-2 minutes of being in the room; though I know it's a common occurrence for older buildings in beach areas. Greatly appreciated the tram service since all the activities are located in building 1.

Not what we expected

It is just an ok hotel. They don't seem to care about the customers. Had an injury while I was there that pretty much ruined the vacation for me, due to rusty nails sticking out on the boardwalk. Ended up getting a tetanus shot and hobbling around in pain all week. Had to make them take an incident report, which they never did folow up like they said they were. They called our room to try again to get us to do the timeshare thing though. The food was just so so. My kids did enjoy the little movie theatre. It was a longer walk to the beach than I expected and the water was not as clear as I had hoped. Couldn't enjoy the water due to the open foot wound and no way to protect it. Probably would not stay again.

Awesome resort

This place is awesome, directly across the street from cruise port, walking distance from ship Glory. No need to shuttle or taxi, resort is very clean very accommodating, food is great, staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, excellent amenities and the pool area is huge, especially the lazy river. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but already planning another cruise and extended stay here.

Very Poor Experience

After attempting to resolve my issue with management, I am sharing my negative experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort. Issue #1 – Our suite had an overpowering smell of Indian food, curry specifically, which maintenance noted was not uncommon and usually addressed before the next guest arrives. Yet I’ll take the blame for this issue, as I should have demanded a new room. Issue #2 – Late that evening, we learned there was NO HOT WATER in our suite. Maintenance confirmed the issue, said he would explore the problem, and let us know what he found…we never saw him again. As a result, we were all forced to take COLD showers that night. Issue #3 – After the cold showers, we pull back the comforter on the bed and discovered disgusting dirty sheets (pictures shown below). I found a member of housekeeping in the hall who sent me away with a new set of sheets, so we ended up having to strip and remake the bed ourselves. Issue #4 – The next day, the manager on duty acknowledged all my issues yet said “I’m limited in what I can do since you booked through IHG” and told me he could credit the resort fees of $105. So I took the issue up with IHG rather than fight with him at the front desk, requesting a refund for the first night of our stay. IHG opened a complaint but said they were “limited in what we can do because Holiday Inn Club is not part of IHG”, and the resort had 24-48 hours to respond. They never responded to me, but IHG said the resort “closed the complaint because you accepted their resort fee credit”. I left a message for the General Manager and never heard back. Despite a great outdoor pool area, I would never recommend this resort. It is NOT a true IHG property, but rather just a 3rd-party affiliate, so expect a lower level of customer service, accountability, condition, and quality.

Great service

Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to help when needed. This is a awesome place to visit. I will be coming back to stay with family. The room and all the surroundings areas were very clean and very well taken care of. Thank you to everyone for out great experience.

Very disappointed!!!

The front desk experience was horrible! I had to wait a very long time in one line then I had to got to a second to get the keys and parking pass. Then i was pressed to attend a time share meeting and once I declined the front desk person was snide and not very nice. Also, my son got very sick and we had to leave early and I was denied even a partial refund. Very bad experience!!!!!
