Un hotel ya viejo no muy limpio, pero con una ubicación inmejorable. El servicio de los alimentos es muy por debajo a otros hoteles de IHG sobre todo para la cena. Su rio esta muy bueno para los niños. Un area de juegos para jovenes muy entretenida. Por el costo de la habitación esperábamos algo mejor.

Great stay with grandkids for Spring Break

I commend Lissa at the check in desk. She made us feel very welcome. She suggested a cabana rental that we might like. We did rent one for a day and we enjoyed it very much.

Off the Beachen Path

With so many resort choices in the area we will be checking them out on our next visit to Cape Canaveral. Holiday Inn Club Vacations Resort Cape Canaveral is a nice place overall but is showing its age in the halls and rooms. Needs some TLC. I was a little surprised by that since this Resort is a Holiday Inn Club Resort and the members pay pretty good fees ... some of that money needs to be reinvested ... these are all my personal opinions and not everyone's stay will feel the same.

Hotel may have good outdoor amenities but rooms have poor sound and light insulation. Don't expect a good night sleep as outside lights are on all night and blinds are not sufficient to keep even half the light out. Doors slam and shake adjoining rooms. WiFi very poor. It kept dropping out on simple tasks. This property is not to the standard of other IHG vacation properties in FL.

Avoid this hotel

Dirty, dark grubby room with no windows and a large noisy boiler in the cupboard. Totally horrible experience and glad we only needed to spend two nights in this horrible room

Wish I had more time to enjoy the resort.

Checked in after midnight due to a late flight, and checked out next morning for a cruise, but the upgraded room and experience was exceptional. Wish I had more time to enjoy the resort.

Great location to cruise port - poor service!

We had a very mixed experience with this resort. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re cruising. It’s very convenient to the port, and we loved the private boardwalk access to the beach. Watching the cruise ships from the shoreline was such a fun experience. The villas are also a great layout for families…spacious and practical when traveling with kids. The waterpark area was another big highlight. The water was warm (which makes a huge difference), Definitely one of the best features of the resort. Unfortunately, there were several downsides. Parking in the main building is extremely limited on the lower level, which means parking on the top floor of the garage. With no elevator, hauling luggage and managing a stroller with young kids was very difficult. The restaurant on site was great but very inconvenient hours. Definitely needs to be open later. Check-in was very disappointing. The staff was slow and not friendly. Even though my husband had called ahead to add me to the reservation, I was given a hard time when arriving before him with our kids. The worst part was the smell in our room. It had a very strong odor…like a dirty fish tank. When even the kids are complaining, you know it’s not good. Overall, great location to port, fun waterpark, and good room layouts - but service, parking, and room maintenance need improvements. I think we will try somewhere else when we are in the area for our next cruise. This was our second time staying and left disappointed once again.

Great atmosphere, lots to do in a very clean hotel. Pool and surrounding areas an inviting and relaxing. Rooms are cozy with lots of amenities. Bath are clean and in great shape. Very close to the cruise port…
