Awesome resort

This place is awesome, directly across the street from cruise port, walking distance from ship Glory. No need to shuttle or taxi, resort is very clean very accommodating, food is great, staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms are large, excellent amenities and the pool area is huge, especially the lazy river. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but already planning another cruise and extended stay here.

Very Poor Experience

After attempting to resolve my issue with management, I am sharing my negative experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort. Issue #1 – Our suite had an overpowering smell of Indian food, curry specifically, which maintenance noted was not uncommon and usually addressed before the next guest arrives. Yet I’ll take the blame for this issue, as I should have demanded a new room. Issue #2 – Late that evening, we learned there was NO HOT WATER in our suite. Maintenance confirmed the issue, said he would explore the problem, and let us know what he found…we never saw him again. As a result, we were all forced to take COLD showers that night. Issue #3 – After the cold showers, we pull back the comforter on the bed and discovered disgusting dirty sheets (pictures shown below). I found a member of housekeeping in the hall who sent me away with a new set of sheets, so we ended up having to strip and remake the bed ourselves. Issue #4 – The next day, the manager on duty acknowledged all my issues yet said “I’m limited in what I can do since you booked through IHG” and told me he could credit the resort fees of $105. So I took the issue up with IHG rather than fight with him at the front desk, requesting a refund for the first night of our stay. IHG opened a complaint but said they were “limited in what we can do because Holiday Inn Club is not part of IHG”, and the resort had 24-48 hours to respond. They never responded to me, but IHG said the resort “closed the complaint because you accepted their resort fee credit”. I left a message for the General Manager and never heard back. Despite a great outdoor pool area, I would never recommend this resort. It is NOT a true IHG property, but rather just a 3rd-party affiliate, so expect a lower level of customer service, accountability, condition, and quality.

Great service

Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to help when needed. This is a awesome place to visit. I will be coming back to stay with family. The room and all the surroundings areas were very clean and very well taken care of. Thank you to everyone for out great experience.

Very disappointed!!!

The front desk experience was horrible! I had to wait a very long time in one line then I had to got to a second to get the keys and parking pass. Then i was pressed to attend a time share meeting and once I declined the front desk person was snide and not very nice. Also, my son got very sick and we had to leave early and I was denied even a partial refund. Very bad experience!!!!!

4 night stay

The staff was awesome. I brought my son and his friend for my son's birthday. I needed a bottom floor with handicap shower and did request that, but we were given a 3rd floor non handicap. It was hard for my son. The staff made our stay fun. They were very gracious and accomodating throughout our stay. I'm hoping we'll be able to get a room that fits my son's needs the next time we come.

Wonderful vacation spot with so much to do.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything from the beach, to the swimming pools, to the movie theater. There was so much to do, and yet it was quiet and peaceful in our downtime. The grounds were kept up and everything was beautiful. We were very impressed.

Great quality service

My family and enjoyed our stay. We will return again soon. Customer care was great. Shuttle to the beach was a great commodity, different pools for different ages. I enjoyed the lazy river. Overall it was a great time and experience. Thank you!!!
