Amenities, Food and Pool
I had an outstanding stay at Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee! The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers plenty of activities for families and guests of all ages. What truly made my experience exceptional was the Front Desk team. From check-in to check-out, they were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. They greeted every guest with a smile, answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their outstanding customer service made me feel welcomed and valued throughout my visit. Thank you to the entire Front Desk team for your dedication and hospitality. I highly recommend Orange Lake Resort to anyone visiting the Orlando/Kissimmee area and look forward to returning in the future!

Great resort ruined by timeshare tour!
Apartment was great, facilities were great. The downside of this resort is the forceful check in when you are lied to about the timeshare tour. We were told about going on a tour of the resort for resort credit, we said no but were further pushed by the Rep to sign the piece of paper. When I pointed out that I didn’t meet the thresholds for the “tour” I was told they didn’t matter. I was charged an 80 dollar deposit, later that day I returned to reception and tried to cancel the tour and recover my 80 dollars. This was unsuccessful it was apparently no longer a tour but a timeshare sales pitch, I explained we we didn’t meet the requirements and were lied to by the representative before signing up. To cut a long story short I still haven’t received my 80 dollars. This experience ruined the great resort and I’m sure it would improve their guests overall experience if everyone was pressured with sales pitches when on vacation.

Excellence Throughout
We have stayed at this resort 6 times and we continue to love the stay from the check in to the he exit. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms we have stayed in are so homey and comfortable. It's like a vacation home that has everything you need. The best part are all the resort amenities and activities. You cannot run out of fun things to do or quiet places to relax. We are really so refreshed after staying here.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Home away from home
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. It's one of the nicest hotels i've stayed in so far. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa on the 3rd floor. The entire villa was spacious. I didnt want to leave. I would definitely stay here again and longer if the price is right. The 2 issues I had was the elevator was hot and I was really upset about getting a phone from a staff member at 920am trying to sell me services/ timeshare when Im on vacation and trying to sleep. What made me more upset, it was the same guy that checked me in that I told I wasnt interested and he called me 12 hours later about the same thing and was pushy. Other than that my stay was amazing. I didnt like having to go to one person to check in, then stop at a podium to be directed to someone else. 3 stops isn't necessary but i didnt have to wait. The resort was HUGE and everything you need is on the premises.

Would not recommend
We had many issues including the staff trying to charge for an upgrade we didn’t have (said we were in a 3 bedroom when in a two and argued it over and over), ended up with an extra charge. No bedding for hide-a-bed. Full kitchen had no dish clothes to wipe table/counters. One tsp of salt and pepper(Bring your own). Out of soap in washroom. Single ply toilet paper. Stains in pool towels. One out of 3 key cards worked. Got locked out after first night and had to check in again.( We added an extra night to the front of our stay. Came home late from Disney to our key cards not working. 25 minutes to check in again.) No one working the front desk at the arcade when our kids were picking prizes. Waited 25 minutes. Called hotel, went up, no one at the counter we were sent to.
No, I do not recommend this property.

The environment was really amazing
The hotel had a very clean appearance and the location was easy to find and close to stores like Publix and Walmart. I was helped the employees at the gate with a very friendly attitude and the reception desk Miguel was super helpful as well. Definitely will stay here again in the future

No hospitality adequate
Always read the reviews before you go
I made my reservation online and, as a Hilton Honors member for many years, I specifically asked the reservation agent about the Florida resident resort fee waiver that was advertised on the website. I explained that I am a Florida resident, and the agent confirmed multiple times that I simply needed to present my Florida ID at check-in and the resort fee would be removed. When I arrived, Omar consulted with the manager regarding the fee. The manager approached and immediately stated that I was not eligible because I had received the AAA discount. I explained that I had been told something completely different when making the reservation and that I had confirmed it several times with the reservation agent. The manager simply said no, offered no explanation, and walked away. There was no discussion or attempt to resolve the issue. The check-in process became even more frustrating when I was directed from the front desk to another desk and then to yet another location just to get my room keys activated. When I asked why I had to go to multiple desks and explained that I simply wanted to get to my room, an employee named El responded, “Just deal with it. This is how things work here.” I told him there was no need to be rude, and he responded by saying that I was the one being rude. At that point, I was seriously considering leaving the property altogether. Unfortunately, that interaction set the tone for the entire stay. Nearly every staff member I encountered seemed uninformed, unhelpful, or uninterested in assisting guests. No one seemed to know where anything was or how to answer basic questions. While relaxing at the pool, I repeatedly overheard guests discussing how rude the staff was, particularly the sales team. The common complaints were that they were pushy, aggressive, and disrespectful. Having worked in the timeshare industry for many years myself, I understand how sales presentations work. However, there is a major difference between presenting an opportunity and making guests feel pressured or uncomfortable. In all my years in the industry, we never bullied or treated guests rudely. If someone was not interested, we respected that decision and moved on professionally. Even if I had been interested in purchasing a package or learning more about ownership opportunities, the behavior of the staff would have completely changed my mind. In fact, I later received a call from the sales team offering various incentives and encouraging me to attend a tour. I declined and explained that I had no interest in buying into a property where the staff had been so consistently rude from the moment I checked in. Beyond the customer service issues, the property itself appears poorly maintained and lacks curb appeal. However, the biggest problem is not the condition of the property—it is the lack of professionalism, hospitality, and communication among the staff. To make matters worse, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep, and honestly, it felt like I was sleeping on uneven bricks. Throughout my career, I have worked with Hilton and Marriott properties that were struggling operationally and helped bring them back up to brand standards. Based on that experience, I can confidently say that this property has a long way to go before it reaches the level of service and professionalism guests expect. I was very disappointed with my stay. Looking back, I should have paid more attention to the reviews before booking, which is something I normally do. Unfortunately, many of the concerns expressed in those reviews reflected my own experience. Your property needs significant improvement in customer service, staff training, communication, and overall guest relations. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously because the current experience does not reflect the standards that guests expect from the Hilton brand. Do better.
