Nice Resort-Dirty Room

My family and I have stayed at this resort 4 times in the last 5 years. The part that made us not happy with our stay this year was the fact throughout our stay we kept noticing more and more things that had been left and not cleaned up, which is poor housekeeping especially for the cost to stay. -carrot left under the table -half piece of cookie on top of fridge as well as a hot/cold bag - toothpick/plastic left under bed -2 fruit snack things left behind dresser -patio shade did not work correctly -carpet had quite a few stains -stuff left on dishwasher I did wait to contact services for the fact I understand things do get missed but the more the week went on and finding more things just irritated me. I ended up contacting them on Wednesday, they sent housekeeping up to clean at 5:30, just in time for dinner (we sent them away) Waited and called back Friday morning wanting to speak to management. I got a call from housekeeping and basically was told I should have inspected our room top to bottom when we checked in so then they could have came and cleaned the right away— well I shouldn’t have to inspect a room, it should be cleaned the right way before arriving. I then contacted the desk again wanting to speak to management to address the issues and she said she would email the management to contact me, which I’m still waiting to get that call after 5 days.. The front desk called back about 10mins later and gave me a $100 credit and that’s all they have done. We enjoyed our stay in the past years but are hesitant to return because of our issues this year. Please attached photos as some of my issues were not “appropriate” to state in my review

Nice Resort-Dirty Room

My family and I have stayed at this resort 4 times in the last 5 years. Upon arriving this year we had noticed the window in the room where our kids would be staying would not lock and the shade was broken. I called the front desk and they did take care of the issue. Then we noticed our living room window had electrical tape on the window to look like the grids, what a cheap way to try and fix the issue. Upkeep and repairs need to be done more often

The mattress was really broken down and the pillows were horrible. Either too hard or too soft. One of the machines in the exercise room was broken and the tables had been removed from the main cabana area on the far side of the lazy river that have been there since it was created.

Loved river island and all the amenities including extra pools towels and loved the pool bar

Bit overpriced for amenities offered. Bar area needs to be able to be heated during cold weather.

Huge Resort

The property is a little overwhelming for an older couple like my wife and me. However, the property is beautiful and all the facilities are extremely well maintained and we found it to be a very quiet place to stay despite all the guests there.

No Help

We arrive late on a unusually cold night. The worker at the front desk assigned us our room and gave us our keys. However, that individual did not know where the room was because it’s a large complex. The other workers were not sure. Finally, we got some light directions on how to get to our room. Only to find out the room was several blocks away. We informed them that we had a six-year-old kid and asked if we could get a ride. They said someone from security would give us a ride. 30 minutes later at nearly midnight we’re still standing in the lobby. At least eight workers in the lobby and a Us. I Us includes our six-year-old son who is very upset and tired. Still not one worker in the lobby offered help or understanding. Finally, I threw a fit and said we need to get to our room. They said security is on the way. We decided to walk with our somewhat directions. Got in the parking lot and realized we had no idea where we were going. Keep in mind this is a cold night after midnight. A worker in the in the parking lot offered to help. With his health security showed up 15 minutes later to give us a ride. The gentleman from security had no idea where our room was either it had worked there seven years. So how was it that people have never stayed in this complex with a six-year-old kid on a cold night wherever to find this room. I called the front desk after finally getting to our room just to let them know we did get there. Not that they cared. I registered a complaint. The desk person who took the complaint said the manager would contact me the next day to make right by this. That effort was never made. We stayed there tomorrow night. I guess this is the place only cleans after you leave. Never got new towels. Left my keys at the security gate when we checked out. No closure whatsoever. This is a neat place. However, it is poorly staffed. Both management and personnel.
