Great value for families with kids.

Great trip with our toddlers. Kid area is great! Restaurant could be open more days. Would stay again with the kids.

Beautiful Property

We enjoy our stay at this resort. They honored our requests and our room was clean and comfortable. The pools were very nice!

Excellent Place to vacation

The Holiday Inn Resort Scottsdale has it all. What a great place to be for a vacation.

Roaches

When we arrived at the hotel after our 4 hour drive we had to wait in the parking lot to check-in due to covid. When it was our turn to enter we started going over the normal stuff, then the attendant started to go over all the ways he could save me money and how I could even earn some! It started to sound like a timeshare thing so I declined due to the person saying both me and my wife would have to attend and they don't recommend bringing kids to the seminar (ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS??? I'M ON MY VACATION WITH MY FAMILY!!! WHERE ARE MY KIDS GOING TO GO?????) After declining he got visibly upset and stated he was just trying to save me money. OK whatever, go to my room and start unpacking about an hour into our stay we go to cook some food and a 3in cockroach runs across our countertop!! I call the front desk, they apologize and said they would send someone over to spray. Next day comes at 9am we receive a call about that same meeting waking me and my family up!! Turns out this is a timeshare resort and they are trying to get you to buy into some scam!! I get put on a do not call list...OK finally time to relax and enjoy our vacation. The rest of the day goes smooth and great! Wake up the next morning to 3 dead cockroaches in our kitchen and a new one running around in the dining area. Call into the front desk again and they shrug it off as no big deal, I ask to speak to a supervisor who says it is a big deal and offered to move us to a different room and comp a night. While I do appreciate everything that they did to correct the issue having to pack up a night before we were planning to leave to go to a different room was unacceptable. I won't be returning to this place again!

Pleasant Surprise

I was referred by a friend to this hotel and I was very pleasantly surprised by the room quality. There were a lot of nice add-ons (a wine fridge and espresso machine) that made the room stand out. The only thing I would change is that I would love to have bar/food service in the pool area. Tony at the bar was FANTASTIC!

Don't lie to the guest!!!

The people were outstanding and professional BUT when the customer asks if he/she will be able to have a nice cold beer at the bar while watching his/her family member(s) enjoying the pool please tell the truth and say NO!!! I was lied to and told that I would be able to have a beer while watching my wife and daughter playing in the pool, no one told me that the bar and restaurant would be closed during my stay. This seriously upset me. I wish I had found a different place to spend my daughters birthday!!!

Great Resort

This was a great resort, very affordable, room was very spacious. Had 4 different pools to choose from. Would definitely stay there again!

Excellent Stay

The 2 bedroom was perfect for our family. It was stocked with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Such a great value too.

Spacious

Having 4 kiddos, it is hard to find a room that is affordable and that is as nice as this room was. The entire resort was clean and beautiful.
