Pretty resort
Overall this resort is very nice. Shuttle service is nice touch since it is so far away from beach. Oceanside pool is small. Very clean bathrooms at beachside building,but never found lounge area that served drinks.(small detail but would have been nice to have). I do recommend that you DO NOT stay on first floorsof buildings A or B. Every time someone above you flushed their toilet you could hear it drain down between the walls. Front desk told me this was because those 2 buildings were original to the property before holiday inn purchased and are wood structures. They are not nearly as sound resistant. Overall very nice resort but will book next time with these few things in mind.

So-S0 Service
Thought this was on plane as a hotel. No housekeeping. Wouldn't cash travelers' checks at front desk. Even though I explained to them at check-in was not interested in buying/renting property they still called twice regarding it. Consider it harassment. Very disappointed. If ever in the area again would prefer to stay at an Express.............
No, I do not recommend this property.

Great Place to Stay
My daughter and I were so comfortable and relaxed staying here. Very clean and safe as well as all of the comforts of home.

NOT A BUSINESS HOTEL
This is a nice place and they have nice rooms. A couple tips for the business person and possibly for a families on vacation . 1. This is NOT on the beach it is a 200-300 yard walk to the beach across the street. (or they have a shuttle). 2. This is NOT a hotel for a business traveler. Their business center did not have a printer. You would have to email the staff and then they would print (your sometimes confidential) documents. 3. There are no upgrades for Priority Club Members The piece of paper they give you explains your "upgrades" basically outlines what you get at any regular Holiday Inn. They do not offer anything special to Platinum members. On the flip side this could be very nice place for a family vacation. The place was clean, staff was friendly and rooms were very spacious. I may come back for a good vacation base but as a business traveler I would stay at the HI Express property that is inland.

Myrtle Beach
Resort is very nice. I rated value as average because I used points for my stay and had to give a value. The only drawback is at check-in they are trying to sell you on the resort. I just arrived!
