This ever-popular event is back by demand to give you a delicious sample of this quaint resort
town. From a welcome party at a restaurant favorite to a full-day of savoring all that the Smoky
Mountains have to offer, Taste of Gatlinburg is the ultimate getaway. Every detail has been
thoughtfully planned, ensuring you don’t have to think about anything other than touring,
eating, and having fun.
This VIP Experience kicks off with a welcome party at a renowned local restaurant where you’ll
enjoy a hearty 3-course meal and open bar with fellow Club members.
The next day, you’ll see for yourself why the Gateway to the Smoky Mountains is a favorite that
keeps visitors coming back for more. After some time exploring, you’ll enjoy a private lunch at
Smith and Son, a brick-walled artifact-filed pub, offering American cuisine and stunning
mountain views. Following lunch, you’ll be led to Sugarlands Distillery for VIP tasting
experiences, an exclusive backstage tour of a working distillery and of course, a little
moonshine history. You’ll end the day with free time to enjoy Gatlinburg—from the Space
Needle and SkyLift Park to unique museums, charming shops and more.
Given the proximity of Smoky Mountain Resort to our planned venues, walking will be involved with this event (10 on a scale of 1–10*), which may include stairs.

Monday, May 22, 2023 – Welcome Party
Check-In starts at 4pm, but please stop by the lobby between 3–5pm to meet your event host and pick up your final itinerary.
- 6:30–9:30 p.m. Welcome Party with dinner and open bar
Tuesday, May 23, 2023 – Experience Day
- 11:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Members will enjoy a delicious meal at Smith and Sons, an exclusive VIP Tasting Experience at Tennessee Shine, an exclusive Backstage Tour and Tasting Experience at Sugarlands, and stroll through the streets of scenic Gatlinburg.
Wednesday, May 24 or Thursday, May 25, 2023 – One-hour personalized owner update at pre-selected date and time. Catered boxed breakfast or lunch will be provided prior to personalized update.
Thursday, May 25, 2023 – Farewell Gathering
- 6:00–7:00 p.m. Farewell gathering with members
Friday, May 26, 2023 – Event check-out date (but you’re welcome to stay longer).
Participants in the VIP Experience have the option of signing a photo/video release form.
