great pool and bar service and food
I thought the bed was comfortable but the bed room needed a lot of updating. Was not as clean as I would have expected for Holiday Inn

Never again!
I was excited to go to this resort/hotel for a trip with just me and my husband for the first time in Florida and was so deeply disappointed in the experience (only at this hotel.) I paid a lot for no continental breakfast, no complimentary coffee, no housekeeping services(which we were told about at check in), no window in our room, and with the construction going on we were loudly woken up early in the morning. Also the staff was not welcoming or polite and at points I was given rude looks for the tattoos I have...also when I checked out there was nothing more than a sleeping security guard at the desk who I had to wake up to talk to, he took the keys and that was it...I never received a receipt for my stay when I checked out....I checked out three days ago and still have no receipt.

Disappointed
Front desk are rude and lied to us!! Bed bugs bites everywhere my family suffered from bed bug bites everywhere! We were so disappointed with our experience. I called in advance for 2 cribs to be put in our room and they lied and said they didn’t have anymore and then we went down to the desk and complained and finally after 6 hours of being lied to they gave us our cribs!!!!!

Excellent pool and nice staff
I picked this hotel because of the pool, and it did not disappoint! Nice bar and food poolside, good water temperatures, and enjoyed the live entertainment and various other activities the hotel offers. I didnt sleep well simply because I prefer a firmer bed and I'm not used to ac constantly going. Will be staying again when I'm in the area.

Customer service lacking in all areas
My family witnessed 1st hand poor service in most every facet of this property. With exception to front desk (other than the fact I was told a manager was not on property on night 2 to air my grievances, which I later found to be untrue), the staff could care less about us as patrons. Nice but people training needed.
Very nice location. Nicely done room. Check in staff was quite unhelpful. Did not feel appreciated as a Spire member. Needed some help. Staff was reluctant to help.

Possible review in progress
The property itself is absolutely amazing and worth at least one visit. My issues arose initially with the night’s activities when the desk staff was dismissive in answering where certain things were being held. This was not problematic, but did compound my frustration when I checked out and found my son had left a necklace in the room. Having sentimental value for him and already in distress as we spent most of the morning in the ER for an allergic reaction I called the front desk to ask them to set it aside. When I returned to pick up the necklace I was told they had no idea what I was talking about and that it could not be located. When pressed the clerk continued to repeat themselves while playing with their phone. They took my number and I have yet to hear a response from anyone on the staff. The only audible excuse I could get was a vague reference to their website and a suggestion to look for posts there. A necklace sitting on the counter shouldn’t be hard to identify, nor should it be difficult to contact a member, especially one that has reached spire elite. I am absolutely disappointed in the staff and IHG for allowing a 9 year old to lose his necklace with little to no attempt in locating it.
