Had a great stay
Room was clean and relaxing. Had plenty of things for the family to do. My mom enjoyed the wine glass painting they had as an activity. Could have used some place to eat and some food options other then the snack bar at the water park. Not to many places to eat right around resort but not to bad of a drive to get somewhere with options. Had two separate rooms one of which was no were near as nice as the other one and cost was very minimal between the two. If we would have known this during booking we would have spent the little extra to have the same style rooms. As the agent booking did not mention this as questions were asked on the phone during the booking process. We didn't need another king in the one room so we went with the queen. Should have just stuck with the two kings in both rooms. Was nice having a Par 3 gold course right there and also Putt Putt golf as well. Overall had a nice time and would go back but defiantly would book two Presidential suites next time instead of having two different room types.

Great stay
My kids and I had an amazing time. Would recommend to others. Next time, we hope horseback riding is available

Nice room
Beautiful rooms. Service left something to be desired with 30 minute line just to checkin, no attendants at any of the amenities (mini golf golf indoor pool) and hardly any towels.

Great accommodations
Great accommodations; however, little in terms of food/bev amenities onsite. Although technically part of the resort operating separately, the waterpark was a disappointment. Nice place to relax with family.

Misleading
There is no breakfast as advertised, there is one restaurant in town, you will drive 20 minutes plus to the nearest restaurant so bring your own food. No ATM, no ice machine, additional towels are $11. The water park is not included and no water falls like the website advertises.

Isolated Getaway
Upon arrival to the resort, it had the typical vibe of a resort, long driveway and abundance of area. After checking into our room at the main building, the place looked clean and well kept. We drove around the property to get a feel of the area. There truly is allot to do. Anything from hiking to swimming, golf to fishing. The truly downside to this resort is the area. If you want to go out for dinner, you must drive roughly 30 minutes to the nearest city. There is a pizza place in town that will deliver to the resort, but anything outside of that is a drive. As for the place, you truly do not have to leave. Bring food to cook and your beverages of choice. Food and beverages on site are not cheap, its a "gotcha" moment if you need anything. You can stay in your room and overlook the nearby wooded areas or go outside and enjoy the outdoors. One thing that needs to be noted is the waterpark is NOT included in the price of the room. To me, this should be complementary to the guests that stay at the resort. Its not a big waterpark, but if you are under 48", you are isolated to one area of the indoor waterpark, but if you are over 48", you are isolated into another.

It used to be better
We stayed here last year and had a fantastic time. We were given free waterpark passes for attending a sales presentation, and they had food offerings in the activity center kind of like a snack bar. All of that has changed. We booked our stay this year because of the amenities, but they were sorely lacking. The waterpark was really expensive for what they offer, and they wanted to charge me the same price to go in and sit to watch my kids even though I was in street clothes and couldn’t get in the water. Aside from amenities, the stay was ok. The front desk staff were really helpful and friendly, and one member of staff even brought us bedding for the fold out after 10pm in a storm because housekeeping didn’t leave any in the villa. One thing I will caution you on is to wear your shoes or sandals inside because otherwise your feet are going to be dirty after you get out of the shower. Everything else was clean, but the carpet needs help. I wouldn’t even let my kids sit on the floor because of how dirty the carpet was. I’m sad that this resort has changed so much in the last year and not for the better. I was told they are short staffed, and I honestly feel bad for the staff because they really are trying. It just seems like some bad decisions were made this year. Hopefully it will get better, but we won’t be back.
