Best vocation spot!

We arrived at the hotel and it was so nice that when we went to check in we was an hour early and they still let us in they thanked us for being a member gave us complimentary cookie we then went to our room we're it was a little small but perfect for my wife and I. The room was very clean and fully stocked with cooking like pots and pans everything you need the hotel was perfect with a beautiful view we continued to walk outta the ocean we're it was a very nice walk straight to the water. We then went for diner we're the hotel told us about a very nice place down the road we celebrated out 10 years of being married then we came back to our nice room the second night we was able to go to moody gardens and enjoyed what Galveston had to offer very peaceful I would highly recommend going there we are considering going again next year and taking our kids because it looks like a very nice kid friendly place we stayed there the water allot relaxing at the beach we're a few people were with there family it wasn't over populated like i was thinking it would be. The best thing is walking out of your hotel room and right onto the beach having a couple drinks and going back in for the night.

Awesome beach location and great room!

This hotel was right on the beach. The room was spacious and we had room to get ready and store items in the fridge. We loved the pool overlooking the beach view, so relaxing. Staff was always very kind and attentive, always said hello. Thanks for a great weekend IHG!

The room was perfect large comfy awesome more than I expected

Annoying survey and phone calls

We were contacted multiple times in check in day (and prior) to see if we were still coming even though we had prepaid and it was no refundable. An aggressive salesman bothered us about buying a timeshare. Also received multiple requests to complete this survey with answers over 8 even though we were not happy.

Not a Resort, bad beds and mildew

The king bed, and the pullout couch were incredibly uncomfortable. My family left feeling more tired than they came. Not a resort because amenities weren’t available such as breakfast, room service, and daily house keeping. The location was great being on the water, but that’s about it. Also, they need to stop selling time shares immediately when you check in. We also received a 9AM phone call about time shares and I was about to head to the desk and complain.

Nice beachfront stay

The hotel was a nice stay for our family to enjoy the beach. We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa. It was nice to have a kitchen as we did some cooking for our meals. Some minor things I noticed is that the lamps were very dusty and the edges of the shower were very dirty. Other than that it was a great stay.

Location and comfort room

The room is clean and quiet. The desk clerk Diana is very helpful. The utensils are clean.

Enjoyment for the whole family

Father of 4, and we enjoyed our stay. Being away from all the island traffic and having direct beach access was great. The room was better than we anticipated and all the staff was welcoming and friendly!

Be ready to be sold when you check in. The property is nice but IHG should be ashamed of themselves. Won’t return.
