Two Bedroom Villa Grand

We really liked the roomy two-bedroom villa grand. It was located on the opposite side of the highway, away from the main buildings of the resort which afforded privacy, quiet and an overall peaceful feel. We also enjoyed the patio and view of the lake. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well. The only complaint I had was that it appeared someone may have had had a dog in one of the bedrooms as we found what appeared to be dog hair on the top layer of the bed linens (I may be mistaken, but thought dogs weren't allowed at the resort).

Yes, I recommend this property.

Great area; accessibility to lots of local places

The hotel was massive and on acreage within the hill country. It would have been difficult if I went with other people to be close to them since the property is so large. I will say it was a little unnerving traveling alone since the door open to the outside and my building was across a highway from the main check in. The room was spacious and had everything I needed to cook if I wanted to. The bathroom needed some cleaning, and my room was on a first floor with no view which was a bummer. Overall positive experience with a great location and good value for what you got. Would have been perfect for a family traveling or girls trip!

Yes, I recommend this property.

Dated But Fun

We spent a weekend here and had a fun time with all of the onsite amenities. Pros were the mini-golf, new equipment available for playing sports, and comfortable bed. Problems were the dated facilities. There was no king bed, no shower in master bath, tiny shower in second bathroom, virtually no counter space, extremely low sinks, and very few outlets. The price was good, but you get what you pay for.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Huge Property

This place is huge. Not a typical hotel. But, the rooms are spacious…apartment like. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t updated. Had one of those BIG spa tubs in the bedroom(also the shower)…with mirrors surrounding it, not a fan. Was fortunate I was traveling alone and had the luxury of the 2nd bed/bath. So never had to use that monstrous thing. Minor things since it wasn’t an updated unit: toilets were old and ran forever. Bathroom faucet in master bath was worn as was the vanity and closet. Kitchen was nice and stocked with everything needed during my stay. And towels provided were plentiful and very nice! Even provided towels for pool- which was great! Also the place was pretty clean! Bed was comfortable and sheets/ bedding also nice. No complaints sleeping! I had a good stay. I would definitely return as this was a safe, quiet, clean resort. Also the pool is AMAZING! With spectacular views.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Unsanitary

Bathrooms and bedrooms very dirty moldy and dusty. Too many dogs barking . I would recommend highest floor available or else you would hear running nonstop above. Cook yourself if hungry. Load up at the grocery store near by.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Tx Hill Country get away

Very busy at check in but they offered beverages and coockies. The presidential suite was very spacious and I loved having a patio with a table and chairs. The pools looked great but I didn't have time to enjoy them. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cool and welcomed during this extreme heat wave.

Yes, I recommend this property.
