Great Value, Surprised Expense, Small Inconvience

Great pricing to have on Lake Conroe. Unfortunately, there is a $115 holding fee that is not explained when booking, and I am still waiting for it to be returned. The jets in the master tub was not working. This was the main reason we choose to upgrade. There was no compensation for that. Other than that, the staff was amazing! There are so many amenities and yes, I would stay again when given the chance!

The perfect place

The members of the staff were so service oriented, check-in/check-out was very quick, the place is amazing (we stayed twice in a difference of a month, first weekend was in a cabin and the second was in a villa), we will come back for our third stay !! Thank you for a wonderful vacations

After several phone and in person interactions, I am convinced that she cares deeply about doing a good job. More over, she wants your customers to enjoy their stay at Piney Shores Resort.

I Loved the stay

Other than our group having to leave to go and eat because the grill was permanently closed and being able to hear the family above us running and walking all day and night, the stay was wonderful. We had the perfect view of the lake and sunset; the pools were clean and pretty quiet, which was great. We will be back.

Beautiful and roomy!

Best place in Conroe Texas hands down! The suite was HUGE!! Balcony view was absolutely amazing. This was our second time staying here. We will definitely be coming back!

Celebrating in Serenity and Quietness

Shay, the front desk attendant was very friendly, warm and welcoming. Our stay was very comfortable, serene and restful. We enjoyed the games in the activity center, the beautiful lake and sunset. Also, relaxing by the pool and enjoying the jacuzzi!

Potential is There, but Holiday Inn Failed to take advantage

I am sure this was a beautiful place to stay back when it was new. Now, not so much. This place can use some TLC. It wouldn't take much effort to make it better. Maybe try keeping the rooms clean even if they haven't been used in a while. The room we had (Bldg 5, RM 19) really needs some attention. The leak in the roof of the shower has rusty liquid falling onto the shower floor. The TV in the middle back bedroom does not work, the bed mattresses need to be changed. The room itself just needs to be cleaned more often. When we arrived, it looked like it hadn't been stayed in for quite a while. I am sure the amenities are nice in the "resort", but as for the room we had, not so much.

Total Review

I have been coming here since a child now I have 2 children myself and the cabins are exactly the same down to the little tvs in the living room! They only took out the jets in the tub which isn’t an upgrade! The rooms needs a total revamp for the price ppl pay!!

Too many issues w room and service

I had filed a few issues and asked for the manager to contact me and it has been almost two weeks and no one has contacted me.
