Great way to spend family time

Stayed here with my wife and daughter. The room was great with everything you need and the amenities at the resort were spot on. My daughter loved playing at the pool and traveling into St. Louis for fun activities. I highly recommend staying here if you have an opportunity.

Great place for a family vacation

My husband and I have stayed here 2 other times. There is so much to do and you are within an hour of St Louis. Our children and grandkids came this time. The adult ages were 63-19(one of those being a grandkid!) Grandkids ages were 17, 15, 14, 8, 5, 2 and 9 months. Everyone had a great time! I would highly recommend coming as a family. We utilized the activities center for a family meal space. Plenty of seating outside and inside if necessary.

Awesome place!

We used the paddle boat last trip but not this one. The lake is beautiful! My wife and I fished two trips ago. She caught a beautiful large mouth bass and then released it.

Rural rustic fun

Great place to kick back in nature. Life guards were amazing and helpful. Snack bar and activities staff were hard workers. Clean country space. Loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom.

Great way to disconnect and spend active time with family

This was a lovely week away from the pressure of work and home life. We spent 5 lovely days at the pool and doing all of the activities available (paddleboat, pool, shuffleboard, tennis, basketball, hike, game room, movie room, and snack bar). The slow pace and amazing staff made it possible to unwind and spend time as a family. Area was safe and clean. Felt very comfortable letting the kids (9-12) roam around without constant supervision. Everything was well maintained and the staff took the time to get to know us and anticipated our needs! I would go back tomorrow if I could arrange more time off work!

Great staff great amenities great everything

Always come here to visit a family. The staff is amazing. The friendliness and professionalism is great. I love this resort. You guys are doing a great job here and I will keep coming back at at least 4 to 5 times a year.

Great all around stay

This is a great little getaway for the family. Tons to do and most of it is included in the resort. Fishing, swimming, golf, tennis, games, movies, small arcade, shuffle board are all there and available. They have things for rent tas well if you need or want to try them as well. This is my second stay here and will definitely be staying again.

Awesome place

Great little condo for 2 couples to share space. Great amenities, like a 5 hole golf course to practice , put-put, tennis, pool table, ping pong, and more. Outdoor pool was closed so the boating on the little lake due to out of season.

great spot for downtime

we came here to view the total solar eclipse in April 2024. The accommodation was great, Dave at the Activities Center was very nice and helpful, and the check-in process was seamless. Thanks, Timber Creek! I'm already looking into other Holiday Inn Club Vacation facilities.

Our Second Stay and won’t be our last!

Both stays, we have traveled during off hours, which has us arriving at the resort between 3-5 a.m. Stan has been our sentry both times. He always compliments us on our truck and that always makes me feel good after a 12+ hour drive. He’s swift and fast at check in and always shares whatever information we will need. For example, a recent power outage and also a water boil advisory, he also explains when you check in with the sentry in the middle of the night, you later have to check in with guest services. When checking in with guest services anything you need to know or be aware of is explained. And that building is beautiful! I actually walked further than the desk this trip and the view of the lake is breathtaking! Both of our trips have been fast or quick trips because we have kids in school and early college so they never have the same “school days” off. We’ve seen the resort in fall and spring and both times it’s been breathtaking! This spring trip, we spent more time at the resort. We ventured to the basketball courts and down to the lake! We also managed a round of mini golf and drove around the lake. More surprising-we went into the activities center!! OMG I had no idea all the fun to be had in that building! The staff was doing an Easter event with snacks, crafts and an egg hunt. We didn't participate in the activities because my sister and nephew where at the resort hanging out with us but…next trip for sure! I have no desire to stay anywhere but here when visiting family. The beds are comfortable, the water is always hot, everything is always clean and every staff member is super informative and nice! I’ll be the first to admit-I’m hard to please. I like things nice and clean and sanitized everywhere I go. This resort meets all my families standards. I know we will be back and will have more time to do more things there. Additionally, the patio furniture, although heavy-it’s comfortable. We stayed in different rooms each trip and each view from the balcony has been worth sitting out there. The property to the left of the resort when driving in-has a horse that we enjoyed watching roll around and trot and play. I don’t get that at home.
