Watching cruise ships

This is the perfect location for watching cruise ships come and go from port, they have pool side rooms and ocean side rooms, our family goes every two years to this resort and enjoy swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and our family will visit again

Overall a good experience

I liked the staff and overall service But Oceanside villas are.decent but not really usual Holiday inn club vacation standard They are rather small and felt cramped. Too far away from main property with no other amenities. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The onsite dining is very limited. I hope with their expansion it will be improved. Still a good resort.

Great place for Kids and adults. A lot to do in the area. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and informative.

Third time at the resort, as always, a great time, staff was great and attentive.

Customer Service

Inadequate customer service. Restaurant was slow and food was not good. Courtesy not extended. Pool closed when it was supposed to be open.

Family friendly

Pros. Awesome playground. Free putt-putt . Friendly front desk. Great swimming beach. Lot to see. Cons. Ocean is distance away. Not much to do outside of place. Very "hotely " feel and look of rooms.

Excellent

The view in the evening and morning was amazing. The ocean view rooms where very spacious and clean. The beds reminded me of something a king and queen would sleep on.

Can't go wrong here. We will definetally be back.

Poor Service and Empathy

When making our reservation, an attempt to be upsold was made. Ok.....I told them no, but they kept trying, it's their job but it's RUDE. After Hurricane Irma I called to make sure all was well. I was told yes, the night we checked in we clearly bothered the agent checking us in, the guests above us kept us up late into the evening moving furniture around and then we were woken up by power tools (which supposedly was a generator being used to drain water from the roof on the 5th floor-we were on the 2nd-really?). I called the front desk several times and getting no answer we went up to the main building (we were ocean front) and the line was so long with only 2 people working on checking everyone in. I called and demanded to speak to a manager after being unhappy with the answers I was getting finally from the front desk- the manager called and confirmed we should not be able to hear the generator and that he was going to "check it out" and call my fiance' asap-I requested twice that they move us and they politely skirted around that request- finally after many hours he did contact him to tell him it was the generator and a conversation was had with the guests upstairs about the noise which made them be even more obnoxious. The entire stay was unnerving, the guests upstairs were very rude and inconsiderate and the staff was equally rude and inconsiderate by not doing more to move us and understand the level of frustration and disappointment we felt on one of the most amazing times of our lives.
