Beautiful but Quickly Disappointed

The floors were disgusting. I walked around only inside on the mostly tile floors, and within a short period, my feet were dirty and black. The grounds crew came up onto the patio while I was laying on the bed undressed a couple feet away with only the screen door closed. It completely took away the romantic feel and I felt completely exposed. There was nothing stating they’d be there to do that (and to be aware) and I immediately wished we’d stayed somewhere else

Terrible Stay

The room stunk when we arrived and we had to use deodorizing spray to make it bearable. The AC barely worked and nights were incredibly hot. The floors were filthy and my feet turned black while walking around the room. Spiders were everywhere and the screen doors was broken and we couldn't open the doors unless we wanted bugs to enter the room.

Beautiful surroundings!

We have stayed here many times. This trip was for business, but my hubby I decided to spend some time relaxing at David Walley's. The surroundings are beautiful and never disappoint. Our room was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed resting our tired bones in the sparkling and steamy hot pools. We will definitely be back.

There is a restaurant on site 1862 meat was undercooked both lunch & dinner, even after sending it back still undercooked.h

The resort was very nice, clean, comfortable, felt safe and staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the hot springs on site! Recommend bring your own food full kitchen in room was very nice! Jet tub in room was nice but didn't use as hot springs were available, Full shower in room was nice as well. Bed was comfortable. Overall very nice resort.

scary room service and unfriendly website

First, while I was booking the room on your website, there isn't a column for my to enter my discount code. This really frustrates me since I have the code for a 15% discount and I can't use it. I asked your front desk and your staff told me the only way is to call the hotel while booking, there's no information about that on the website! Second, my friend and I were relaxing and chilling in the room while one of your room service just unlocked the door and came in. My friend and I were shocked and can't believe this happens to us. Why didn't the room service checked have we check out before entering or even unlocking the door? This gave us a really bad experience during our stay. Last, the address on Google Map is incorrect, making it very inconvenient for us to find the hotel.

Don’t recommend

I don’t recommend this place. It’s very pricey and most of the appliances didn’t work. Reservation site was hard to use and know what you got.

We liked our room floor plan, kitchenette, tub, comfortable beds and white bedding, clean and smell free

Recommend this hotel..would like to come back. Only con was lots of bird poop on deck balcony but we are near wetlands and birds are cute. Love hot springs, excellent hours for hot springs. Nice bathrooms and hot springs that have steam and suana room.

This is our second stay in four months and were told for the first time--on our third day that housekeeping was not available unless additional fee paid. It is ideally located and a very reasonable price for our visit, but this issue should be brought up in booking info or at check-in. The only meal service is an onsite restaurant.

Pure relaxation…

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, staff were friendly, and accommodating. We dined in restaurant a few times during our stay and the food was great! Embraced the mineral pool experience- pure relaxation, just what I wanted for my birthday weekend…
