Quiet and Friendly Staff

Our stay here was excellent. Quiet and away from hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, great place to "wind down" after a busy day. Staff are second to none, always there to answer and questions you may have. The facilities are fantastic and all of the villas are extremely comfortable and very well appointed. Everything that you need is there.

A Las Vegas Resort You'll Want to Return To

After spending four nights at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Desert Club Resort, I came away genuinely impressed. Las Vegas certainly has no shortage of places to stay, but Desert Club offers something different: you're close to the excitement of the Strip while still having a comfortable, relaxing resort to come home to at the end of the day. What really sets this property apart, though, is the staff. The level of service and responsiveness is exceptional. Whenever I needed assistance, the response was remarkably fast, professional, and courteous. You never feel like you're simply another room number. The staff genuinely makes an effort to take care of you, and the longer you stay, the more you appreciate that level of attention. I also had several packages delivered during my stay, and everything was handled seamlessly. It may sound like a small detail, but when you're away from home for several days, those details matter. Throughout my stay, the resort felt organized, accommodating, and genuinely guest-focused. As a non-smoker, I discovered another feature that I particularly appreciated. Rather than having smoking throughout the property, the resort provides a designated seating area for guests who smoke. That makes it possible to walk around, relax, and enjoy the resort without constantly encountering cigarette smoke—something I especially appreciated in Las Vegas. What surprised me most was how quickly this stopped feeling like simply a place to sleep between activities. After several nights, you settle in and begin enjoying the resort as part of the vacation itself. By the end of my four-night stay, I wasn't thinking about checking out—I was thinking about how easily I could have stayed longer. That's probably the best compliment I can give a resort. Great accommodations may bring you to a property once. Great people, exceptional service, and the feeling of being genuinely welcomed are what make you want to return. Desert Club Resort delivered all three. Five stars without hesitation. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would gladly return, and would absolutely recommend Desert Club Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming way to experience Las Vegas.

Excellent Stay

Passing through, needed a one night stay, and we had a great stay, in a nice clean, affordable room. We arrived early and the courteous staff was able to check us in when we arrived. We love visiting Vegas, and will definitely stay here again!

Hotel was very clean, comfortable beds, close to attractions.

Nice location….poorly maintained property.

The check-in experience has varied from exceptional to so-so over the last 4 times we’ve stayed at this location. The property overall shows a lack of proper maintenance and upkeep. The rooms have been fairly clean and well stocked. In the last room the door jam that engages the locking mechanism was completely gone. Only the beat to crap wood frame remains. I can provide pictures.

Disappointing due to add cost and sales pitch

My reservation stated a cost of 487.55 for two nights. I was charged an additional 11.77 upon check-in for some sort of tax. This should have been included with the reservation total since excluding it is devious and very disappointing. Is there not a state law requiring all costs be stated upon reserving the room? Also, I read nowhere online when reserving the two rooms that I had to listen to a sale pitch prior to my room keys being activated--extremely disappointing after a long flight/travel day. The room was clean and location desirable for our trip.

Wouldn't stay again

Upon arrival, we were stood waiting at the desk while three members of staff were talking to each other, and when we were eventually seen to, there was no apology for the wait. The lady who checked us in barely muttered five words to us the whole time, and despite emailing ahead months in advance for our rooms to be near each other, we were on opposite end of the resort from one another. When we were sent to the other desk for our key cards, two ladies sent us to a lovely gentleman who seemed to be in training, but was left with no support, and it took us up to 45 minutes to get our key-cards and head to our rooms. Despite having a late check out, we were hounded by housekeeping none stop from 8am in the morning, and at one point someone walked in while my sister was showering, and was yelling at her. When we checked out, not a single person seemed to be interesting in how our stay was. Not the best experience.

The beds are broken down not very comfortable,the age of the unit was not up to para.

Great customer service.

The front desk support was phenomenal in helping arrange the rooms and even when we came in and needed to make it to a reservation, they were quick an efficient in helping us get checked-in and our parking pass assigned.
