clean and centrally located

Great place to stay!

I've stayed here twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Last weekend I was there with a group of 10, and we stayed in (2) 2 bedroom suites. I requested them next to each other and they honored that, even though we checked in early and got different (better) rooms than we reserved. The rooms are HUGE, the tubs are HUGE, everything is super clean, my guests were all shocked at how amazing/spacious the rooms were. Being just off the strip was no problem at all. Saved us hundreds of dollars over a comparable room 1 block away on the strip. Customer service is WONDERFUL. Yes, they try and sell you on their time share options, but when you politely decline they are really nice about it. Valets also go above and beyond. I asked one guy for walking directions and he informed me that it would be unsafe to walk through a certain area. He asked another guy going in a cab in that direction if I could ride with him so he essentially hooked me up with a free cab ride and possibly saved my life. That's hospitality right there. I only have ONE problem. Both times I stayed there the previous occupants left the alarm clock on really early and it went off our first morning there. I feel like turning off the alarm clocks should be on the house keeping checklist since it has happened on two separate trips now. But the rest of the stay was AMAZING so don't let that dissuade you. I'll probably be staying here every time I go to vegas now. It's that great.

Great value and service

The hotel is a bit off strip but if that's not a big concern then this place has excellent value especially if you're traveling in a larger group of 4 - 6. If you have a car, there is plenty of free parking. Otherwise the shuttle runs every hour to various locations on the strip til about midnight every day. The villas are spacious and include full kitchens. Other than the pullout sofa, beds are very comfortable. The blackout curtains helped me get a good sleep. The master bath has a Jacuzzi which also doubles as a shower. Almost every cluster of buildings has its own dedicated pool which is nice. The clubhouse also has a convenient store located right in the basement for any drinks, snacks and other basic needs. I've stayed here 3 times in the last 3 years and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff are always welcoming, helpful when needed and polite!

Do Yourself a Favor and Stay Here

We could not have been more pleased with this property. We were checked in by Eden who was very friendly and efficient. The accommodations were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The free covered parking just outside our condo was great. The Gold Mine Grill had great food at reasonable prices. We dined there several times during the week; and by the time we left, we wanted to take our waitress, Warfe, home with us. She was so personable, friendly and had a great attitude. And while we appreciated having the Market Place convenience store on the property, the prices were much too high. $6.25 for a small box of Raisin Bran cereal was way overpriced. The grounds were lovely and well-maintained. The complimentary shuttle service to some of the casinos on the Strip was much appreciated by us although the resort is located within walking distance of the Strip. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

Peaceful location walking distance from Strip

This property was a wonderful surprise. Because it is a block away from the Strip, it is very quiet and the way they designed it, it is a very relaxing, peaceful environment. But yet you are so close to the strip....a block away that it's convenient to walk it...no driving around trying to find parking that's nonexistent or paying high fees to park. The Resort also provides free shuttle bus (timetable is given upon check in) that drops/picks up at 3 or 4 locations convenient to major casinos. If we had known that in advance, we wouldn't have rented a car....seriously we used it to drive the 5 minutes to the airport and back :(. They did have covered parking too so that is very nice if you have a car. Apartment itself was spacious, very clean, cozily decorated, had everything you needed...dishes, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, coffeemaker. Nice big flat screen TVs, huge bathroom (tub big enough for 2), and free wifi internet service. A/C ran quietly, bed was excellent. There is an onsite restaurant that is small but with all the great restaurants so close, we never ate there. Pool was very inviting with rock waterfall design but we didn't bring our bathing suits. I highly recommend this over the overpriced noisy, smoky casino hotels.

Nice room

Beauiful complex and nice rooms. Nice set-up for sharing costs. Carpets needed cleaning and the mattress in the sofa-bed needs replacing.

Lots of Room for Improvement

It seems they worry more about giving sales pitches here than they do about cleaning your rooms and removing the trash from the property. I had to call housekeeping all 5 days of my stay for missing items or items that should have already been in the room and the speed at which they were delivered was very poor. Add to it that the last day there, the room was never cleaned and that trash remained outside our room in the breezeway for over 30 hours tells me there is a problem with the way this property is maintained. Very disappointing, as I stay at HI properties all over the world when I travel and this has to be one of the worst experiences I've encountered to date.

Excellent vacation experience in Las Vegas

A great place to stay if you do not want to stay in a motel room. It is close to the strip so it's easy to enjoy the events (gambling, shows, etc) at the casinos but then return to the peace and quiet of a beautiful resort. The resort even offers a free shuttle to the casinos on the strip. The rooms are very nice and there are pools, a store, and a restaurant on site. I'd highly recommend this resort to families with children

Awesome bed and clean room

I rate this resort 5 stars because it had wonderful bed that provided a great night's sleep. Upon arrival, it was very clean. The bathtub was huge and lovely!
