Excellent stay
Overall our experience exceeded our expectations! The staff and cleanliness were exceptional and the bed was most comfortable. The amenities we!e suburb! We would definitely recommend this particular resort and plan on returning ourselves!

Almost great
I loved the location, privacy & amenities but my IPad did not work here. I had to use my IPhone for internet work. That was very frustrating & unfortunately I can't give GBR a Great rating.

great value for beach stay
I spent 2 days with my daughter and enjoyed the beach and the pool. We felt like we were far enough away from the busy boardwalk crowds but close enough to dine and shop when we were ready to do so. I'd stay again.

Nice rooms with view of ocean
Nicely laid out, full kitchen, separate living/dining room. Big bathroom with corner shower and separate jacuzzi tub. Nice decor. Great beach experience.

On the Beach
Most hotels in Galveston are across a very busy street from the beach. This resort is located on the beach side with a direct walkway to the beach from the pool. The pool area is very pleasant and the beach is great for playing and swimming. There are also several activities for children provided as well as grills and picnic tables for guests to use. This is a great place to stay for a vacation on Galveston Island.

Great place to stay!
This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel. We had a great experience both times. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. The room furnishings and decor were plush and comfortable. A major draw of this resort is that it is right up against the beach and you don't have to cross the busy seawall blvd to reach it.
