Absolutely a great location.

Location can't be beat, check in easy, beware of vacation club desk. They couldn't tell the truth if they had to.

Owners only attitude!

We have stayed with IHG hotels and resorts for years so we know how amazing they can be. I will say this was the most disappointing check in I have ever had!! The actual check in took forever because there was only one person, however they were very friendly. The problem came when I was sent to get the parking pass. First of all being rooms were booked directly on the IHG website means I am under zero obligation to listen to the sales pitch for a timeshare. I politely stated "no thank you we have an agreement in our home not to buy timeshares". The response ... well we are changing our policy to not accept people who are not owners!! The woman was quite rude and her anger towards us not being interested was evident !! She definitely did not make me want to be apart of ownership in anywhere that would treat people in such a manner. I would like to recognize the people at the entrance hut, they all were very courteous during our stay. Getting to the room it was clean for the most part. The bathroom definitely needs some TLC, as there was no pressure in the shower and showerhead would not adjust. The jetted tub looked dirty as well as was missing all the covers on the water returns, so didn't end up attempting to even use it even though that was one of the main reasons we went with this level of room.

Nice Hotel

The rooms were spacious with very nice views. There were several amenities that were all used during our week-long stay. The only downside to our stay was the activities were inconsistent and the restrooms needed more TLC. Overall, it is a nice resort and would definitely return.

Staycation

Being from a neighboring town I have always driven past the IHG resort on 3005 and wanted to stay. We chose this resort for the space, the beach, and the pool. The villa was amazing minus the pool storage blocking the ocean view we paid for. It would have been nice to be able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach from IHG or a private business like they have on the Galveston beaches or at the first IHG resort that is before Jamaica Beach rather than carrying them over the bridge to get to the beach. It was nice that there was an area to rinse off from the beach at the start of the bridge. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. If you chose an ocean view be sure to mention you don’t want to be in view of pool storage at check in. The air vent in the room with the king bed did not seem to be working in 107 so we kept the doors open to be comfortable.

Wonderful

Our stay at the Galveston Seaside resort was excellent. There were many amenities available for all guests, and the staff was helpful in explaining them to us. We also loved the connection to the beach as well as the cleanliness of our room. We can’t wait to book our next stay at the resort.

The Adams experience at the Signature!

We enjoyed our stay! The Signature Villa is our favorite place to stay! I want to request room 306 every time we vacation there. The room was clean and very presentable. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Our family had great competition playing miniature golf. The lights on part of the course were not on, but we finished the 18 hole course.
