Birthday Getaway

We booked this property for my wife's birthday weekend. Property is huge but still felt cozy. Pool was clean with lots of shady tables around it. Villa was spacious with the most comfortable beds. My family really enjoyed our time here.

Would return to this resort

We had a great experience. With little kids, we like to have a full kitchen, multiple rooms, and activities on site beyond the beach. We are looking to go back with our extended family. I would recommend asking to be in a building up front vs the back especially if you have little kids - up front gets you closer to activities and the beach. The onsite "snack bar" is not a restaurant, but more of a kiosk like you might find in a hotel.

Almost a great stay.

When we checked in and saw the room, we extended our stay immediately. However, the first night revealed issues—mainly that the air conditioning couldn’t cool the master bedroom after our showers. Combined with the humidity and a broken ceiling fan, sleeping was impossible, so we had to sleep in the living room. We reported it to the front desk. A note said someone had checked the fan but left it unrepaired. We called again, and someone offered to replace it—we agreed—but nothing happened. The second night we had to all sleep in the second bedroom that had its own HVAC unit. On top of that, there was no shampoo or body wash in either shower, which was an unwelcome surprise. We asked the front desk to fix it, but instead of checking all bottles, they simply left a single body wash bottle in a plastic bag at our door while we were out. The issues in their own wouldn’t have been as big of a deal, but the lack of attention by the staff plus the heat aggravating my sleep apnea made things so much worse. The simple act of dealing with the lack of shampoo and soap so we could wash the sand off before bed and fixing the fan so I could sleep would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

Property Opened Too Early

The property has been under repairs from hurricanne damage. Basically, they opened too early! Their elevators aren't working in many buildings (and I had requested an ADA room but was placed in a building with no elevator). The TVs weren't working. There was multiple loose exposed wires in the room. The AC until was making horrible noises and they ignored us about it. The bathroom sink was leaking. And the noise level on the property was awful due to the workers on property. It is not right on the beach; but across the main drive (so you have to drive to the beach). There is really very little amenities; really only a pool.

Nice clean rooms

Clean rooms, just smelled a bit bad like wet dog.. noise level is that you can hear everything above you and no elevators was horrible taking luggage up and down

Holiday Inn Galveston Seaside resort was great

It was a pleasant peaceful stay at this resort I will be back. I was very satisfied.

Our mini vacation

They stay was amazing and one of the best we have had. The staff was super nice and helpful. They truly seemed like they cared. They have security and they have s9me cool things to do with your kids. The grab and go was nice and the food was good. They alsove have games,movies, and video games for the kids. Overall it was great!!!!

Never again!

The manager said they will refund our money! I hope so, because it was a lot of money or something that was like a motel. I was especially disappointed that we drove almost 5 hours and when we got there, they did not have the room we requested then they put us in a room where everything was not working right including the microwave the refrigerator and the light in the bedroom would not go off so I had to unscrew the bulb.

Very impressed with the resort and the staff, very friendly, welcoming and professional. Got us towels quickly when we asked, room is spacious, clean and was perfect for my family! Balcony was pretty cool too!

It was a beautiful surprise

It is a beautiful place to stay with your family you feel safe and secure with security. Plus the place is nice and clean, its has plenty of amenities that you can enjoy with with the family. I really enjoyed the place looking forward towards my next visit. Bring food as all the eateries are far about 20 to 30 minutes away especially for breakfast.
