Perfect location and fabulous villa
Located right on the beach with pool and spa overlooking the ocean. The villas are beautiful, fully equipped and absolutely huge. The bar staff were super friendly and happy hour was a great service each day! The gym was great and never busy. We loved everything!

Misleading web site information but nice rooms
The rooms were fine at this property - probably good for a long stay (as long as you don't mind groceries/dining a significant drive). The A/C works well and the water pressure is good. The 2 bedroom was spacious and the dark out shades work well. The web site is misleading because it implies you are staying on the beach and that is not necessarily the case unless you are a top level in the vacation club. If you don't mind overlooking a cow pasture and being in a very remote spot, it will be fine.

Clean rooms and great service
We have stayed here once or twice a year for the past several years and this year the hotel was cleaner with a friendlier staff than before. The room was clean and stocked and of course the views were amazing.

Ask for an adult only building!
Property could use fresh coat of paint, carpet cleaning and tile repairs in the bathrooms. We had little kids running and jumping past 10 the 1st night then the jumped out of bed at 6:30am and kept jumping. We called the front desk and they told us to call them and tell them to stop. I said that was a managers job. Tile in the bathroom was popped out and broken in spots....I was scared one of us might go through the floor! Damen helped us with easy check in and out and gave us some good ideas about restaurants. We will either trade up for the Signature hotl or go back down the beach to another location.

This property is okay, the Staff is Great
We enjoyed the room. The staff is super nice and professional. The food is so/so, go to Galveston to eat. You have to drive to go to the beach. Suggestions for improvement: please get elevators for each building 2. please add at least 1 more pool that we can walk to.

Home away from home
Lots of kids activities, rooms are huge, my room had 2 kitchens and a washer dryer. Mini golf and play ground was a great place for kids to run off energy. Ice cream parlor to finish up the day at the beach. Beach Access is across the main road. Recommend to drive or use golf cart. Down fall no working fryer (long term issue) at on site grille, my Jacuzzi bath tube had the start button super glued. That is the only thing I wanted out of this trip to actually work. Mom of 4 kids here. But I can't get everything.

Poor customer service
As told in the other part of this survey, I have been a owner since 1992. And this was the worst service I have received and I was embarassed when my daughter in law was rudely told off and hung up on several time when simply asking for more towels. The other reps were sweet and handled the misfortune situation.

Relaxing and Comfortable
The two bedroom Signature Villa was perfect for a long weekend with family--five adults (50s-60s). The beds were comfortable, linens were good quality, and the condo was quiet. We could faintly hear people in the condo above us, but not so much that it was distracting. The kitchen as well-appointed with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and a coffee maker. There were no coffee filters or coffee provided. A few tea bags were provided and Keurig pods, but no Keurig. There were espresso cups but there was no espresso machine. The living area seating wasn't adequate for five adults--one of us had to sit on a bar stool. The balcony gave us a beautiful view of the beach and gulf. We enjoyed the pool--beach towels were provided by asking the server in the café. We did not eat in the café--the only food offering was a BBQ foodtruck with a prix fix plate. There area nearby restaurants and grocery stores, but not in walking distance--this is a car-dependent location and traffic is not cyclist -friendly. Be prepared to sit through a sales pitch to get you to buy into the timeshare before you're able to check in, and then you must wait until the condo is ready before you're allowed into it. None of this was communicated when I made the reservation, and had I known, it would have eased some of the frustration. I had requested an early check-in knowing that we would arrive about an hour earlier than the 4pm check-in time. When I went to check in, I was told at reception that early check-in wasn't guaranteed and that I would need to wait until 4pm. The wait and timeshare sales pitch were not the kind of warm welcome that I expected or appreciated, especially after a long drive and family waiting in the car in 94º heat. (I was able to decline the timeshare offer relatively easily.) Despite these inconveniences, I would stay here again if we were to visit Galveston Beach in the future.
