Difficult Check-In - Rooms Ready Until 5:30

We love, Holiday Inn! However, this holiday experience was not a pleasant one. We got in line to check in at 3:57 and stood in line for 47 minutes before getting to the front desk. When we asked if there was some kind of an issue, or if they were understaffed. They shrugged and said this is how it is when we are busy. then we were told our rooms were not ready. We finally got the text that our rooms were ready around 515. When we got to the room that Maid was still there cleaning and they were piles of laundry and trash everywhere. Just not the best way to start a vacation. Our second room became available at 5:30. A $50 resort credit was given for each room because they were not ready and apologies were made by Julie - the person who answered the front desk phone when we called. However, the front desk staff, culture and climate are really struggling. There was absolutely no sense of urgency to help the guests. We will continue to stay at Holiday Inn’s because we do love the brand. However, we will never return to this particular property.

Great service

The service was great. It was quiet. The rooms are a bit outdated and the cleaning crew could do a bit better with cleaning.

Grandkids

The Villa was a little outdated and need better Wi-Fi. There were dirty towels in the bathrooms The rooms the kids were in didn't need a door leading outside also didn't need a kitchenet I couldn't sleep I was always checking on them.

Comfortable Bed and Great Experience

The grounds are well maintained with friendly staff on hand to help. The pools are kept very clean and are saltwater. It’s centrally located so you can attend local events. Rooms are clean and stocked and air conditioning is super cold!

Great Location to Stay off the Branson Main Street Traffic

What a BEAUTIFUL resort! I'm not a golfer but it appears to be a great, well maintained golf course. We did try two of the pools and the grandkids had a GREAT time. We would stay at this resort again as it is close enough to Branson, Missouri but away from the noise and traffic

Chill place if you like golf

This resort wasn't my favorite IHG property. Our bedroom window faced the parking lot which was a bit noisy in the evenings making it hard to sleep. There were spider webs in the stairwell that set my arachnophobe daughter off. We arrived late and the lighting was OK, but could have been brighter. The room and amenities (pool, game room) were good and if you are looking to stay on property, this might be the place for you. I personally prefer to be closer to downtown Branson, near the 'action'. The golf course looked really nice but I'm not a golfer!

Overpriced, terrible food, and mouse turds

Terrible! Do not stay at this property. They were too concerned with selling a time share instead of making sure that the property was one that a person would want to stay at. The food was terrible. There were mouse turds in our bathroom and the toilet was dirty upon our check-in.

Comfortable and relaxing

I would recommend this resort to all my friends and family. This has been the cleanest and most relaxing place I have stayed at in a very long time. We are a family of 6 and we all fit comfortably. There is enough space for everyone to spread out ️

It depends on what you are looking for.

We initially picked Branson and this resort as part of an unsolicited IHG timeshare offer. We discovered that what was promised was not what was going to be delivered after we booked and paid the unmentionable amount but at least a month before we checked in. Since my wife's family was already committed to meeting in Branson from Kansas and Oklahoma, my wife made a separate booking and cancelled the timeshare booking. If you are looking for a room with a separate bedroom with attached bathroom, a small kitchen, an average living area, and the option for a smaller attached room, all for a reasonable price, this could be a good option for you. If you are fine with walking a short distance to an unheated outdoor pool or driving to the indoor heated pool, this will work for you. If you want to golf on site, that is an option here. You will be close enough but not too close to the Branson attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly, but we had to buy cleaning supplies because the floor was filthy. My wife was told we had a golf course view when she booked, but instead we had a view of the parking lot between our building and another one just like it. We liked the outdoor picnic pavilion with grills. There was a laundry building a short walk away with free machines. Although we will continue to stay at IHG properties for a night during a multi-day road trip (a Holiday Inn Express with an indoor pool and breakfast is consistently a great stop on a long road trip), this property does not compliment how we vacation. I do not anticipate ever staying at another IHG Vacation Club timeshare property.
