Excellent for a girls weekend

We had a group of 10 women stay at the resort for the weekend to celebrate the upcoming wedding of one of our friends. The location and amenities were wonderful. In addition, the staff really made our weekend. Everyone from Matthew, Greg and Desire at the front desk, our two primary trolley drivers, the cleaning staff, to the GGPSD team (Sean, Brad and Casey) made the weekend one of the best and most relaxing times we’ve all had together in a long time.

Pool not accessible

The main resort is about 1/2 mile from the Holiday inn. You would have to drive to get to the indoor pool and fitness facility. Not ideal for a stay in April. They also don't offer cleaning and maid service unless requested. One tiny travle bottle of shampoo for a family of four, staying two days! Because this is a resort facility a basic buffet meal averages over $20 / person . Also not ideal for a family with kids who prefer cinnamon rolls and scramled eggs, these are typical breakfast buffet items. Not paying $21 / person for eggs and breads.

a good place to stay

we enjoyed our mini-weekend get-away in this lake Geneva Holiday inn club. Everything looks fabulous, our room has very good view to look out and can see the golf course. Room is spacious, clean and nice. The only complaint is the bed. Too soft for us, I can't sleep well in that bed. Another thing is that every room has sound system on desk. We still can hear music at midnight, since we can't have good sleep and still awake at that time. But overall, it is a nice experience. Staff is friendly, everything looks neat.

Our favorite!

You really can’t go wrong staying here. You get all the amenities of the Resort, but with the comforts of home in your own condo. Condos look out over the golf course and there is a trolley that will take you anywhere in the property you want to go. We stay as often as we can!

Great stay

I stayed one night for business at a very slow time in the spring, but would like to return and enjoy all the resort activities. Very clean and comfortable.

The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are kept up and clean.

Great get away from city

Only problem was I heard another couple sexing like crazy all night long. Happy for them, but...... not what I wanted to hear. ☺️☺️

Lake Geneva Weekend

Our overall experience at the Grand Geneva hotel was excellent and we can't wait to return. The history of the hotel was very interesting, the accommodations were great and the staff were wonderful.

So glade I made it

Got lost on my way there, so did not get to check in till after 1am. Very helpful and friendly front desk. Only bad thing was I did not get my points till I called IHG and asked for them. (Welcome and room points)

Subpar bathroom

Our room was on the main floor, which I did not like. The original room stepped right out to the parking lot. The second room was a little better, at least it was enclosed, but it was on the main floor. I do not like rooms on the main floor. Front desk was unable to accommodate us on an upper floor. I believe the room we had was for disabled, as there was a walk in shower. Every time we showered, the water would get all over the floor. It was not contained to the shower. Additionally, the ceiling was leaking, probably due to the same situation in the bathroom in the room directly above us. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the bathroom. We were due to check out on Easter. Check out is 10am. We asked for a late check out and we were told they could not accommodate us because they had someone checking in after us. Check-in isn't until 4pm and I highly doubt someone was checking in on Easter Sunday! As a reward member, I would think that I could at least be accommodated for a late check out. The bed was comfortable and I appreciate having the kitchenette which was clean and functional.
