Don't get a room facing the street

Awful. Came for rest and was up all night. Def recommend you make sure they have the room you want.

No, I do not recommend this property.

ATTITUDE

When we checked in we were greeted with some serious attitude and unfriendly behavior. When we asked questions about our stay and the area we were treated like a problem and nuisance for asking. The bar was closed and we weren’t able to access the market either. It was my first time in New Orleans. Next time we’ll get an AirBnB or stay at a different location. The staff’s attitudes ruined our stay there.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Trying hard to sell you a time share, scam charges

Decent enough hotel, good location. Staff is unhelpful, like talking to a potted plant. Watch your bill closely, charged more than my reservation was and then I received strange additional charges on my credit card after my stay, weird charges for amounts like .05 cents. Will not send me a receipt so I can compare to my reservation, I mean they absolutely ignore your requests for a receipt. Seems scammy to me. Also, upon check in they will not give you a room key , you are required to go to a different desk and get the “time share” spiel before they will give you a room key. Great, after traveling 8 hours I have to go sit with some guy and listen to his pitch before I can go to my room. Pretty bad for an IHG property.

Great stay!

This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn and it will definitely be my go to in the future. Everyone from the bellhop, receptionists, and maintenance personnel was friendly and accommodating. The room and overall hotel was clean with everything you need. The location was perfect where I was able to experience NOLA as soon as I stepped outside of the hotel.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Vacation Resort Sales Tactics

The location is great and the room was very clean and spacious. Mrs. Sue is one of the nicest and most helpful employee at this hotel. I never received a call or text when the room was ready. I was never informed that I had to talk to "concierge" aka sales people to get my room key. I was charged a $50 tour fee althought the sales people said I would not be charged and the email showed $0. I had to keep calling the hotel and tour desk to remove this fee (going in loops). I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but the vacation resort situation was an issue. I'll stay with Marriott.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Noisy, unhelpful staff, and rodents!

Do not book this property. It may be close to the French Quarter, but it has more problems than solutions. The front desk and support staff were rude and unhelpful. We asked for ice and towels several times before we just went downstairs and got it ourselves. You will not get any sleep, the noise from the street is exceptionally loud and goes all night. Also, our room had a mouse in it. Staff made it seem normal and took no steps to remedy the issue. We checked out a night early to get out of that terrible place.

No, I do not recommend this property.

One night before cruise

We stayed here for a night before a cruise. Parking is confusing - there’s only a valet option but the space is so limited we had to drive around twice. Billy (doorman, bellhop, valet) was very helpful though fast paced. The next morning, Mary informed us we could leave our vehicle until 2pm and Miss Sue held our luggage after check out.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Not worth the headache

The staff truly made my stay terrible, not knowledgeable, received different answers to the same questions, was continuously inundated with time share calls and messages, the only good thing about this property was the location in proximity to all the things we wanted to do.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Our stay

We had a great time for our staff was friendly kind. The room was large and just what we were looking for. It was in close proximity to everything we were there to see in New Orleans.

Yes, I recommend this property.
