Always enjoy our stay here. So close to everything and always well maintained. Special shout out to Miss Sue! She’s the best! Greets us with a smile every day.

Vacation Resort Sales Tactics
The location is great and the room was very clean and spacious. Mrs. Sue is one of the nicest and most helpful employee at this hotel. I never received a call or text when the room was ready. I was never informed that I had to talk to "concierge" aka sales people to get my room key. I was charged a $50 tour fee althought the sales people said I would not be charged and the email showed $0. I had to keep calling the hotel and tour desk to remove this fee (going in loops). I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but the vacation resort situation was an issue. I'll stay with Marriott.

Noisy, unhelpful staff, and rodents!
Do not book this property. It may be close to the French Quarter, but it has more problems than solutions. The front desk and support staff were rude and unhelpful. We asked for ice and towels several times before we just went downstairs and got it ourselves. You will not get any sleep, the noise from the street is exceptionally loud and goes all night. Also, our room had a mouse in it. Staff made it seem normal and took no steps to remedy the issue. We checked out a night early to get out of that terrible place.

One night before cruise
We stayed here for a night before a cruise. Parking is confusing - there’s only a valet option but the space is so limited we had to drive around twice. Billy (doorman, bellhop, valet) was very helpful though fast paced. The next morning, Mary informed us we could leave our vehicle until 2pm and Miss Sue held our luggage after check out.

Not worth the headache
The staff truly made my stay terrible, not knowledgeable, received different answers to the same questions, was continuously inundated with time share calls and messages, the only good thing about this property was the location in proximity to all the things we wanted to do.

We had a great time for our staff was friendly kind. The room was large and just what we were looking for. It was in close proximity to everything we were there to see in New Orleans.

Good but
The location was good, and some of the staff were helpful and friendly. However, once I returned home, I noticed unknown charges on my account. When I called to get answers, I kept getting the runaround with no clear explanation. Also, my boyfriend saw a mouse in our room during our stay, which was extremely concerning.

Valet made my stay
The valet was our favorite part they where so sweet and attentive and they just made the stay so welcoming it was rocky at front deck because they lady at the front looked up seen me ignored me avoiding eye contact but another gentlemen came from the back to help and that honestly was my only issue because I work customer service but the room was perfect so much room and such a better location to enjoy the city

Nice hotel, sketchy service..
This is a nice hotel and a great location. Sadly, the service is awful. Upon arriving, we were not recognized IHG members. However, we were shuffled off to a concierge offering all sorts of freebies for us to do a 90 minute tour the next day. After emphatically saying no, the insistence continued. What makes it worse is that I have actually done the tour and the presentation for the timeshare operation one year ago. We were not able to get our keys until we listened to what the concierge had to say. I felt like we were being held hostage. All we wanted to do was have a cocktail and unwind after a very long drive. To make things worse, our heat went out during our stay and it was an unbelievably cold 21°. Our room got down to 57°. We were told at the front desk that all we could be offered were some extra blankets. We were furious. We were trying to stay warm with heat from the oven. The heat did come back on the next morning, and we did end up staying the next night, because we planned to check out early due to the cold. The last day upon check out, Mary was actually very nice and apologetic and let us know that we had been given a credit for that night. The whole situation was stressful nevertheless. We definitely won’t be back. It is really a shame because the location is great, and we loved our room. However, service goes a long way. If you decide to stay here, I would call and make sure the AC or the heat is working properly, and be prepared for the timeshare tour “talk” upon check-in.
