Excellent Staff

The facility needs attention for sure. The pool needs some maintenance, the slides were not working, the float tubes were just cheap and uncomfortable. The towels were inappropriately small and also placed far from the entrance to the pool - there were many drop off's but not many pick up locations. The room was comfortable and for the most part clean. There was not enough TP for the week, nor enough dishwasher solvent. We were glad we brought laundry detergent as towels are not replaced during the visit. The wait staff in the bar area's were exceedingly good at their jobs and very friendly and so was the front desk staff but they were in a building that was quite a distance from ours so you didn't really see much staff ever. They did close the pool's quite often any time there was rain, thunder or lightning and then there was no announcement that they were re-open or that they were closed so a few times we went out and it was perfectly sunny but they were closed due to "lightening" in the area. Since it was a 10-minute walk from our villa it was a bit of a disappointment they did not have it announced or posted on the elevators? I would stay there again if I had other things to do in the area, but would not depend on this entertaining my family for more than 3 days.

No good

To be honest, I hate the idea of pay extra money to use the resort, It seems that I only booked the hotel room but the resort pools were not included, pay extra money for the lazy river tubes makes no sense. Also two hours not expected tour ?? What was that ??? I'm very disappointed.

Great Stay

Very beautiful place to visit or stay for a extended period of time. Loved everything.

Great Resort concept especially with family

The staff were friendly, great rooms and villas. A lot of things to do including playing golf at your back door.

Poor Customer Service

I was charged for an extra day that I did not stay at the hotel, and when I asked management to fix it all I received was an attitude and a no. It took me over an hour to have this problem fixed, which took away time from my family vacation. This place really needs to hire better staff.

Weekend Getaway

This property is ideal to getaway and relax. Plenty of amenities/activities. The staff was very polite and helpful. Mariela and Monica definitely treated me as a Spire member at check in which I appreciated. Derek at the Rivers Edge pool bar was awesome...very personable and made excellent drinks. My fiance and I are Looking forward to our next visit!

vacation club

This was our second stay at the resort, the first time was a about 4 months ago. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. It was great, home away from home. We wanted to tour but didn't have the time. We came back to visit with my daughter(disney employee). Amyways we scheduled a tour this visit. We had an early tour 8am. git there and checked in 7:45. They sat us in back room and the room filled up quickly. It emptied just as fast with tours going out. WE SAT AND WATCHED AT LEAST 12 families that came after us go on tge tour. We went to desk to complain and the could not care less. The girl said saif "OH MIKE SHOULD TAKEN ALREADY". Have no idea who mike is and we were the only ones left. HORRIBLE WAY TO TREAT POTENTIAL SALE, because my wife and I really liked the property. Even gave up our morning to be completely disrespected. Probably wont return, even lost out on the gift of free week anywhere we wanted to go...

Great Villa

Comfortable Villa. The Room Service is not so good. The only Pizza that delivers to the rooms is not good. The best things are the Villa and the Pool. The rest is meh.

Relaxing enviornment

I spent most of my time relaxing in the back porch area watcing the birds and taking an oasional walk on the golf course. I found it to be a very welcoming and relaxing experience. I have been to this resort on several occasions and I've always found it to be a great experience. I have many happy memories at orange lake and hope to visit again soon.
