Be prepared for ABUSIVE sales tactics

Our room was shabby and in disrepair. The sales team is unscrupulous and abusive. They are so bad ethics violations are being filed with Florida Consumer Protection, FL Board of Licenses, FL Board of Realtors, BBB Reviews will be left on every available website so others are not duped into this trap. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. We explained a family home is being built not far away for retirement. We repeatedly stated we had absolutely no interest in time share. Yet they continued persisting we buy in. Along with the first sales person who would not respect our decision. We were introduced to sales managers who also refused to take no for an answer. We asked to be returned to our vehicle miles away and got told to find out own way back. Stranded because of not being interested in this slum. We were also supposed to receive a $400 room credit for sitting through a 90 minute presentation. After THREE and a HALF HOURS we were being held hostage and never received the credit.

Roomy and Comfortable

Beautiful space, lots of room. Very comfortable Wishing I had a longer visit so that I could have enjoyed the amenities because they sound amazing! Super close to Disney, shopping and restaurants.

Comfortable everything!

Everything was great! The place was clean and spacious and my family really enjoyed the eminities. It was too cold some nights for the hot tub, but we enjoyed the lazy river and pool when we could get in.

Convent location, great customer care

Location is great, love the care from staff from the top to the bottom. Cleaning crew very considerate and thoughtful. Would be happy to recommend this location to friends and family. Would love to stay again when we have more time to enjoy the vast variety of activities and experiences that this location has to offer

Great Value in the area

Just as advertised. Rooms were clean and amenities on property were a plus. Close to all main attractions . 15 min to Disney parks. Would definitely stay here again on the next trip.

Wonderful Stay for families

Orange Lake Resort is a fantastic destination for families, offering a wide variety of activities across its different villages. River Island is definitely the top spot to stay, especially with its convenient access to the water park. However, I do think there’s room for improvement when it comes to lifeguard training. During my stay, there was an incident where my little cousin nearly drowned because the lifeguards weren’t paying attention. That was concerning. Aside from that, the resort is great, with easy access to Disney, several restaurants, and even a nearby Target for any essentials. I would definitely stay here again!

Great for families

The villa was amazing and exactly what our family needed. Everything was clean and the staff throughout the property were friendly and welcoming. Great choice if you need larger spaces accommodations.

Love the villas

The villas are always clean beautiful and the smell ehen you get in is just wonderful. Same experience since 1991. I would never change OLR!! Congratulations to all the staff

Amazing and friendly staff

We want to thank the amazing shuttle drivers for taking great care of us during our stay. We also want to personally thank Vandy from Maryland. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was stress free. Coming in early everyday so that we were able to get to the golf course on time for our son’s golf tournament made us feel truly appreciated and made our stay a 10 out of 10. Also all the staff at the Golf Course were terrific. From the Marshalls on the course to the restaurant staff and the pro shop. Thank you for allowing all of us from Canada to have an amazing overall guest experience. We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful Resort, but didn't get what we wanted.

Due to hurricane Milton, our original dates were pushed back a month. So this was a highly anticipated anniversary getaway. I did my research and chose Orange Lake Resorts. I specifically asked for the West Village due to the units being updated and also units being side by side versus on top of each other. I contacted them multiple times requesting and they reassured us we'd get a unit in the West Village. Upon checking in they gave us a unit in the East Village. I let our receptionist know it was an anniversary getaway and she offered to send a bottle of wine. That never happened. Our 2 bedroom villa in the East Village was outdated. Our room was on the first floor right next to the elevator. You can hear all the guest coming and going. It was not pleasant to hear families screaming in the morning or luggage being dragged while checking in or out.
