Empty promise

My husband surprised me with a small relaxing get away after recovering from medical issues , I called and explained that I'd like a room closest to to lazy river and was told to hold on and they transferred me to someone who could help me . I was told they could move our room to another building that is next to the river and to let them know they documented in their computer. . As we were checking in it was the wrong building and I explained our situation and changes ,no help so I asked for a manager ... another guy working front desk came over and addressed himself as a manager ( no name tag/ badge confirming this was n sight) and said nothing was in the computer and he could move us for a upcharge , then he said they were booked and could not help us . We had to take the original room . We were very disappointed and embarrassed. So make sure you get names and confirmation before arriving or you might not get what you were promised. This isn't a good way to get people to visit .

A good quality resort with plenty of facilities

A good quality resort with plenty of facilities to a very good standard, we've spent 10 weeks here over 2013,15 and 2017. Would recommend for families and couples who are looking for a relaxed good quality vacation with access to the theme parks and great base to work from. It's probably the perfect resort.

Great resort

I was happy with the resort. There are many things to do if you do not plan on doing any of the theme parks. We were at the lasy river for a whole day. I do wish that the resort did accept cash as well, considering I brought up of cash to spend on the trip. The resort is beautiful and the 2 room villa we had was perfect for a family of 5. I will recommend staying here with a big family.

Relaxing Resort with Spacious Rooms

Love staying at this resort. Is far enough from Disney to not to get caught up in the razzmatazz but close enough to get to fairly quickly. Pool in West Side is excellent, staff friendly and i always feel welcome here.

Nice resort but has room for improvement

The room was but very dusty. Fire alarm going by itself but when i called management to report problem. I was asked was i smoking in room . I never smoked a day in my life. Besides that and waiting 2 hours for them to fix the problem . My kids loved the resort and the staff was excellent,they let me check in early and the staff working the stands by pools were very helpful.

The overall stay was really good.

Fast, friendly And outstanding service from the staff at the resort. When I return I would not like to stay at the club house though. It was just a bit too much going on for me

Good Quality .... lots to do ... great for a family event

Been coming here for many years and have almost always had a great time, which is why we keep coming back. But this time was different, I could live with the price of the cabanas and lack of MORE wristbands for tubes ( lazy river) ... but a raccoon was loose on the 4th floor, which I see as an unsafe condition .... he left behind raccoon poops in several areas .... we called twice about this and 3 days later ... the poops are STILL there !!! Have to avoid stepping in it and keeping 8 young children in our group from stepping in it ... I find this disgusting and very UNLIKE anything I've ever seen at OL .... I'm extremely disappointed !

Needed more wash cloths

There were only 2 washcloths in the bathroom. We were staying for 3 nights. You should figure that most people would need at least 1 washcloth per person/per day.

Place feels like a zoo

If you are looking for a place of tranquility this hotel is not it.
