Excellent Stay

We took our 8 month old daughter on her first beach trip and stayed here. While the rooms are on the older side, you can tell the staff makes the most out of it and keeps everything looking clean and welcoming. The king bed was so comfortable and the balcony view was incredible. The hotel was right on the beach. We will certainly be back.

Loved the balcony

We loved the view from the balcony. We had coffee on the balcony every morning, and watched the sunset every evening. The gulf was particularly beautiful this time of year in August. We will return, and just booked another stay for next year.

Very comfortable rooms

We loved the size and amenities in our one- and two-bedroom "villas." They were very comfortable and well-stocked with utensils, plates, bottle and can openers. We loved our suites! Just one tiny note that the ceiling fans were a little dirty and droopy. I imagine it's hard to keep them perfectly fresh because of the humidity in Florida. This isn't a big deal, as the rest of the rooms were immaculate!

Great stay at a great hotel!

We had a great one-night stay at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club! The location is perfect, directly on the beach. The villa was fantastic, featuring a full kitchen, living room and dining area. We also had a balcony that faced the beach and we enjoyed sitting out there having our coffee, relaxing, and watching the waves. The staff were all excellent, so warm and kind and friendly. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer! We will definitely be back!

Beach getaway

The hotel location was awesome. It is right on the beach, never have I been closer in a Hotel. The room was huge with a separate bedroom and sofa bed. The bathroom was big with a jetted tub and shower with constant hot water. the sink area and mirrors was big especially with three women. The only downfall was bed were not comfortable but the location and size of the room helped. Nice balcony and the complete kitchen was great. Will stay here again./

Desperately need updates and improvements

This resort need to be updated!! The kitchens are HORRIBLE with rusting appliances, blue tile with grout that hasn't been cleaned in decades. There was even foil on the kitchen burners. Additionally there is a bath/shower combo that is very hard to get in and out of. The silver on the mirror is breaking down from decades of use and need to be replaced. The beds are uncomfortable and the road construction outside will prevent you having a good nights sleep. Additionally window dressing will not keep the light out during the night. The resort has no activities. Additionally you will have to pay $38/day for beach chairs. We were in room 207, the pool chairs are positioned so that if you are sitting on you deck the people at the pool are staring directly at you NO PRIVACY. This was not a good experience. It was horrible and thee was never a manager on site to help. We checked in on Monday and was told the manager would be on site the next day, it was the house keeping manager. The resort manager wasn't onsite until Thursday. The resort could be great because the beach is wonderful but it is currently a hot mess. Holiday Inn club needs to do better or get out of the timeshare business. What a ripoff!!!
