Great lake view unit, wonderful service!
Wonderful stay. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Ron in Engineering was prompt and professional fixing the fireplace. Enjoyed the stay 100%. The TV was great to watch the Big Game on. I did not use the Bistro, but the menu looked great!
An outdated resort in a gorgeous location
Cannot be better located for skiers. You could get a gorgeous view on the valley or being facing the hill! Furnitures are out dated.
Do not stay at Ridge Tahoe until Resort Improved
This is used to be a great spot for ski-in-ski-out Heavenly. It was never a 5 star resort, but it was clean and well maintained. HIVC bought the resort and has allowed it to fall into complete disrepair. Broken appliances and facilities, dirty common areas, and on and on. It is awful. If IHG can save a penny, they’ve made the decision to do so and pretty much destroy a place that used to be great for skiing. Sad and disappointed to say the least
bad experience poor service
During my stay, many services are not available, not as described in the hotel website. I used points to book the room, should not have any additional charge, but my credit card was charged for unknown reason; email few time to the hotel <firstname.lastname@example.org> asking to provide bill statement, but no respond at all; plan to dispute it.
Comfortable bed and great service
Location was amazing and room was comfortable and clean.
Nice location hotel very old unfortunate cleanness very poor bed very uncomfortable all amenities around the hotel was close needed to take the car to go in the Maine city to access to ski resort I'm not recommended this place if they don't improve the place the only good things is the full kitchen

the like to room with sauna and hot tub
The property was nice and clean. The room was very large area. In the room has sauna, hot tub, large kitchen area. The living room was very nice.
The location is a little bit far, the room is quite big, but rather expensive for me.
Wow! What an Experience
Upon arrival the adjoining door to the next room was open. A man came in to the room just after we arrived and it took two calls to get someone to come lock the door. You cannot lock it yourself. No toilet paper, tissue, or ice bucket were in the room upon arrival. Had to also call for that. No one answered the call for the shuttle up the hill where the wedding we were attending was, so we had to walk up the extremely steep hill in formal wear for a wedding. After the wedding we found that there was no water available for purchase anywhere in the entire resort, according to front desk staff, so we had to drive 4 miles down the mountain to a gas station to buy water. Staff insisted there was water in the vending machine but it was all soda. We didn’t receive the promised wedding discount for our room, and all the pools and bars/restaurants were closed before the wedding even ended, so we couldn’t use any amenities. Check in was 4:00, and the wedding was at 5:00, so we couldn’t use them before. We were still charged the $49 a day resort fee. There is no AC in the room and the portable AC is extremely loud and makes it difficult to sleep. The room was close to 80 degrees and on the back side of the property so I got no breeze, even with the sliver of a window open. Lastly, there was public hair in the shower. The view is beautiful, and the room itself was nice (although very small!), but not enough for the rate they charged given all the negatives. To be fair, we did get a free breakfast for two upon check in because they didn’t give us the wedding discount, but we weren’t planning to eat there prior to that (and again, for the price you should at least get free breakfast anyway!)
