Large rooms and great views
The Tahoe Ridge Resort was a beautiful resort with great amenities like putting green, pools and pickleball. The balcony was large and provided a great view of the mountains and forest. I would recommend this hotel to couples and family alike.

Comfortable beds and big living spaces
I am satisfied with this property which has a big living room and nice kitchen, comfortable beds and wonderful view, not far to South Lake Tahoe downtown. We had an excellent resort experience and family time here. We are looking forward to visiting IHG resorts in different places around the worlds, hope we still can get a great memory next time.

Good value in September
The price was pretty good in September and the views are beautiful, but it seems like there is no A/C, so it can get pretty toasty.

As stated to many issues in a short time. On top of that this was a rewards program and presentation and charged for it.

Great Experience and friendly staff
We came to Tahoe for our Anniversary, and were recommended this hotel. We arrived and were greeted as IHG members and shown us all the resort amenities. We arrived early so we went to the bar to have a couple drinks and then check into the room. We drove and parked in the garage and were able to get in the room easily and get all situated. We went to dinner in Tahoe, and came back, found easy parking in the garage and went to bed. Unfortunatly, the remote for the sleep number bed had dead batteries so we couldn't adjust the bed. The next morning, we called the front desk and while we were out, they replaced the batteries and everything was good. However, when we came back that evening, there was no parking in the garage, and we were never explained the overflow procedure. Once we were told that overflow parking is on the side of the hill, we parked, however it was dark and uncomfortable walking back to the hotel room. More lighting and an explanation of the parking overflow process would have been nice. Overall, the expirience was great, and I would highly recommend this property to all friends and family looking for an amazing expirience.

System to know when guests have checked out is a failure
On two separate occasions on the morning of my departure, staff entered my room as if it was unoccupied. First, a group of three maintenance workers strolled in through an unsecured adjoining door before returning next door to use power tools and play loud music. Second, housekeeping entered my room for cleaning well before my check out time. Third, even though I presented these problems to staff upon check out and asked to be contacted regarding these failures in service, nobody ever bothered to reach out nor make any attempt to rectify these egregious hospitality blunders.

No AC
No AC only swamp coolers, avoid property at all cost in the summer.

When I booked the room, I didn’t know there was no AC. Found out about it right before checking-in. The front desk, a man, who checked me in was very nice. When I asked if there’s anything they can provide to make the room cool , he immediately called another staff to deliver a portable AC to the room we’re assigned to. The building where the guest rooms are are pretty far from the main bldg. it’s outside the Holiday inn resort. Had to go out the main gate and drive to the bldgs. It wasn’t a big deal. But when we got to the Ridge bldg garage, parking spots to room ratio was a let down. There were 3 cars behind us who were also trying to park but we all ended up getting out to find a parking somewhere. Luckily, we found one but had to walk all the way to the bldg(uphill) while carrying our stuff. The room we were assigned to was small, dark and looked nothing like the room photos they have on the IHG app. It looked clean but the room triggered my dust allergies. The bathroom on the other hand was bright and very clean. After checking out the next day, we walked around the main bldg. I honestly think the whole resort needs updating. there are numerous spots with pretty views though. The staff were excellent.
