Disappointed

Loyal customer! Facility and views appear to be amazing. However, there is no trailer parking allowed, 35 curbside spots available with only 2 occupied and we only needed 6 for one night after 13 hr drive. Explained this to the staff and was told parking was fine but then forced by security to park in area not owned by IHG with no available spaces due to high occupancy because this was their policy. 6 hrs of scheduled sleep turned into 4 hrs sleep after re-parking. Next morning all of the curb side parking was still empty. Staff was friendly but if this in fact policy then no trailer parking on site should be identified so travelers do not book here. Cancelled return trip scheduled stay and had to rebook elsewhere last minute which is always more expensive. Not one to typically give low reviews but this is the first time I have been disappointed by an IHG property.

i will never book this property again. bad customer service. staff behavior is awful. bad location. swimming pool is very dirty and small.

stay with beautiful canary and trail area

this resort is accessible to south lake trail and scenery place . Neighborhood hotel/ lodging places shows also very quiet and family oriented environment . If anyone who pursues family activity and hiking , this is the right place and area .

Cool location, but needs some work

Good location with a great view, but left feeling underwhelmed. First, the hotel has no A/C. Shame on me for not realizing this, but our room was consistently around 80 degrees with no breeze coming in from the outside. It was really hard to sleep because of that and I never would've booked it if I had realized it. Second, some of the amenities are not maintained well. The main pool was really gross and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It was so cloudy we couldn't see our feet and bugs and hair were floating around us everywhere we looked. Gym was alright, but the equipment was dated. Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean.

Planned this family trip for almost a year. We were quite uncomfortable in the hot rooms with NO AC and having to man the swamp coolers. If only there was a better way to open the windows a bit more- just too hot for us to enjoy. Minimal would be nice for staff to anticipate the arrival and begin to cool the rooms. And we are FLoridians so we are used to hot. Also a number of dogs in rooms, barking ones in the rooms and one that almost knocked my 2 year old granddaughter off the steps. These were not service dogs and I dont understand with hotel policy how they were allowed there.

Really bad hotel and amenities.

No power and no air conditioner in the villa. Too hot to say. Really bad customer service. Would never ever stay here. They charge resort fee and really bad amenities.

Great vacation

Great room clean and comfortable only complaint is no ac on guest room

Spacious 2 bedroom unit but wish there was AC

We had a 2-king bedroom suite and it was very spacious! Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was great. We liked the added items we didn't expect such as the 2-head shower, fans in the closets, humidifer, etc. One of the hot tubs and pools that was on top of the mountain was great and had wonderful views of the sunset. Biggest drawbacks were that the unit was very warm (in early June) and we had to sleep with the windows open and fans on. Also the main pool hot tub was not working which made the pool seem extra cold.
