Horrible Customer Service -Tyler Front Desk

1st. I booked my room and asked about the water park. They told me age and height requirements and didn’t tell me the park was closed 2. When I let them know I was running late and asked if my partner could check in. They said yes until they saw that she had 3 black children with her and immediately accused her of fraud. 3. When I called back they continued to accuse us of fraud and wouldn’t give the corporate number. When I asked for the supervisor number he gave me the main desk number and when I asked for his name he said Tyler and I asked for the last name and he refused to tell me

Overall room experience

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the units are clean but need updating. Wi-Fi is not that good and no longer have restaurant on site

Staff was excellent all was great except NO restaurant on grounds

I can not speak highly enough about how we love our stay. The one fault is no restaurant. No breakfast, no lunch, no dinner. To truly be enjoyable they need to get something available to supply food on such large grounds.

Great family indoor fun!

We didn’t know this place existed, but have it a chance. Fox River Resort is a hidden gem! We will certainly be back. Water park is perfect for small children and adults alike. Even the “free” pool was special. Try it, you’ll love this place too!

Worse staycation ever!

This was not enjoyable at all. When we first arrived the lady at the front desk was not very welcoming at all. I noticed how she was more warm and inviting to the white people after me. The room had a very loud smell of staleness it did not smell clean. I ended up cleaning everything very well. The refrigerator was dirty and so was the counter and bathroom. I wanted to go home but we drove from Indiana and the kids were excited to go swimming. Also it should be made clear on the website in hold print that the water park is mot included in the stay.

Terrible experience that ruined my kids’ spring break

There was no information on the hotel’s website that you needed a personal vehicle to be able to move around the resort. We were informed at check-in that we would be given transportation assistance if we called reception. But when we called to get a ride to the water park, we were told it was against company policy to do so with no offer for any kind of assistance to make our trip worthwhile. We had no choice but to check out the next day, which was 4days ahead of schedule after taking time off from work to give our kids a good spring break. A complete waste of time and waste of a round trip car service to get there and return for $350.

Good for traveling with kids.

I love the size of the rooms and the amenities. Nice relaxed environment. WiFi was pretty poor so I ended up tethering with my phone more than using it, and I wish the water park were open 1-2 more days if the week. Overall it was a fun relaxing trip.

Decent getaway

The only problem was the water park was packed and they don’t give preference to people staying on property.

Nothing good came from this trip. It was awful.

This location was horrible and I will never come here again.
