Great New Resort...However Not Perfect
Hotel is Clean, Staff Very Friendly, its obvious they are getting into the flow being a new place! We had the AC go out for 3 days which caused some negative review from me as it was 79 degrees in the room!!! Food was decent priced and good, Drinks were seriously pricey - we ordered 2 frozen drinks with a floater shot and it was $65!! That's too steep!!! Location is great, pool is great!!! Overall except for a few issues, we would go back but No AC was a HUGE issue for us! FYI Kids meals are a fantastic deal at the pool for the kids - made it so much easier than having to make them something or fork out big money for them!!! Overall this place could have been one of our best stays yet as a family but the whole AC issue just ruined it for us. Definitely consider it though as it truly is pretty great!

Beautiful property / Employee Service needs work
The people when we checked in were wonderful. They even were able to get us into our room early!! It was disappointing tho when we had to leave so early that there is no one at the front desk. For the bartenders, all but one of the Back porch bartenders were rude. The food was really good. Be aware that they automatically add an 18% gratuity to all tabs. Our room was beautiful. It was at the end of the hall. The same five Cheerios were on the carpet in the hall the entire week. Our room was very well equipped. Our suggestions for the kitchen would be needing more storage containers, spatulas and tongs. Also, the outlet beside the refrigerator did not work and the dishwasher is terrible to load because it falls forward like it's not secured in. Our suggestion for the bathrooms would be adding Grab-bars in the showers and the ability to change the shower to give stronger water pressure. The grounds are beautiful and the pool staff was amazing. Special shout out to Christian who always had a smile! We definitely will go back!!!

Clean and relaxing
We traveled to Myrtle Beach for a wedding 25 of us stayed here we had 4 different suites. Needless to say those that stayed at other hotels wished they booked here.Everybody loved it here very clean, nice pool area, easy access to the beach. Also my husband had to work the WiFi connection was great. He sat on deck area and watched the ocean and worked. Great place to stay! Clean, nice staff also 5 minutes to the airport. It was good to see security here u have to swipe your key card to go up or down on the elevator . Security is visible in the garage and in the hotel.

Beach Vacation
We had stayed at the previous IHG hotel across the street. The only perk was the pool being oceanfront and accessibility to the beach. There were no water slides or lazy river for children to play. We were abruptly woken up by a fire alarm at 3:30a. Sat outside for 45 minutes no one told us what happened and there was no compensation for the distress of waking your child up in the middle of night. There was only 1 bartender each day who was rude because there were many people wanting to place food orders at lunch time at the pool. The walk in shower was so large but had no foot shelf to shave your legs or bench. The shower head was so high I couldn’t reach to adjust and I’m 5’1. There was no daily cleaning service or towel exchange.

Brand new bad experience
Was so excited to stay at this resort. We have been waiting 3 years for this resort to open. We checked in a day early we couldn’t wait to enjoy this beautiful resort. Or hotel room smelled like someone deep fried fish. I report the issue multiple times they told me it got lost in translation etc. I stayed up till 1030 one night because they said maintenance was going to come up and fix it at 730 never came. They understood the issues and help to correct the matter on there end of the stay with a refund. But I was just so disappointed in the stay we really wanted to be able to have this as a possible time share or family getaway spot. We travel 2 times a month or more. Our room I requested to be cleaned due to a lot of sand brought back by my 1.5 year old and I felt like a bother asking the gentleman came up and we were getting our daughter ready and I asked for 15 30 mins am he said sure then proceeded to sit down outside our room until we were ready after coming back twice in 15 mins to see if they could clean but we had family all getting ready to go to lunch.

Beautiful new property, 2 Bedroom Signature Suite
Found this hotel after going through a dozen or so properties and picked this one based on a few reviews and that is was brand new. Great location for those wanting to be away from the main boardwalk area but close enough for a short drive. 2 bedroom suite was beautiful. Ocean view was nice from the balcony but there are larger suites with better views. Being a new hotel everything was clean and in good condition.
